SMith isn't playing mind games, he's genuinely concerned about the future of the club and that worries me big time. I'm delighted for you that you understand why Walter said what he did and his reasons for doing so. You must be the only fan who does. Thanks, but I couldn't really care what people think on here though I guess we'll see what happens at the end of the season, I hope Walter's fear of things getting worse doesn't come out. But I can't see that happening, if we win the league most of the money will be used to pay off the debt (which is a good thing) while the squad will most likely be weakened. Even if we don't let anyone go, there also (probably) won't be people coming in and if 'they' spend money we might very well be on the backfoot again. edit: Just read the article in the other thread. Can't say I agree with the claim that Muir has the best interest of Rangers at heart. Those are assumptions and are then used to discredit the protest. I don't doubt Muir is a smart man who knows what he's doing, but if you see how he handles at MIH and it's companies then there are definitely some justified worries.

Walter isn't on the board and so won't necessarily be privy to the who, how, whys of decision-making. Unless of course he is being fed tit-bits from directors. I'd rather believe Smith than people with 'reliable sources' on a message board

so what is this protest ? just a couple of banners ? Propably yes. It's not as if they will chase the team of the pitch and attack the board room. Just a group of people who will protest against the lack of clarity (whatever Bluepeter9 may claim) and the way the club is ran.

OK, and let the people who protest against the protest do so also. I for one won't be behind it but that doesn't mean that The Rangers family is divided...........we've just had a minor falling out. As if. People will moan on here until tomorrow and then when they have the chance to speak out against a protest at the game they won't. As I said: The anonimity of a message board, sometimes it annoys the fuck out of me. edit: Just to make it sure, I don't mind people being against the protest. However, stuff like 'We have been told all the info we need' is not right, as a lot of people still do now know what's happening in or around the club. It's not hard to release a press statement like for example West Ham: We owe this much money and this is how we will try and lower that debt. None of this 'There might be a buyer' or 'I've seen Wattie in a restaurant with some business-people, but can't say who'. Because that's exatly the type of BS that that causes people to get upset and stage protests.

So is sitting on your ass for 90 minutes moaning about everything, but that seems to be done week in, week out. But hey, at least the safety of an anonymous forum lets people have their say I guess.
