  1. BBS,

    i have put your Ibrox disasters page on the main page so it is easier for people to find.

    also put in a link to The Treble Years (page not yet created) on the main page.

    Cheers templ. I think that each separate disaster should have a page of it's own with reports and lists of the victims. Just made the page for the memorial after finding a site with good pics and info of the statue, but the original page for the disaster was already there and can be expanded.

  2. I'm planning on making a more detailed page for the Trophy Room on RangersPedia which will include individual pages for items. The main page will have a panoramic picture, video and information about the creation of the room. It will also have a list of items not in the cabinets, each with their own page, and then links to pages for each cabinet.

    I've got the names of 5 out of the 6 cabinets and was wondering if anyone knew the last one? This is what I've got so far:

    * Main Trophy Cabinet

    * Loving Cup Cabinet

    * Youth Cabinet

    * Centenary Cabinet

    * Churchill Cabinet

    Each cabinet page will have a picture of it and a bit of info, then a list of all items in it with links to a page for each. Obviously this will take a while to complete but can be done by using info from books such as Blue Heaven, Temple of Dreams and asking for info on tours.

    Going to use pics from http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?app=gallery&module=user&user=1&do=view_album&album=55 and http://imageevent.com/wertp/rangerstrophyroom as a start as well as scouring threads for other pics.

  3. I've been thinking for a while about how we could make the trophy room page even more complete. We could make a main trophy room page with some general info and pictures and a list of items not in the cabinets such as pennants, the St Etienne bicycle, Struth picture, Jim Baxter chair.

    We could then have links to pages for each cabinet which would then have a picture of it and be broken down into a list of pages for each individual item. The names of the cabinets are:

    • Main Trophy Cabinet
    • Loving Cup Cabinet
    • Youth Cabinet
    • Centenary Cabinet
    • Churchill Cabinet

    Still unsure of the name of the last one but will look into it. Good sources of pictures for the pages could be http://imageevent.com/wertp/rangerstrophyroom and here http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?app=gallery&module=user&user=1&do=view_album&album=55&sort_key=idate&order_key=DESC&prune_key=*&st=0, and obviously people could take pics on tours and try and get more info.

    Rangers Reserves 2-1 Dunfermline Athletic

    SALIM KERKAR scored as a mixture of youth and experience helped Rangers overcome a strong Dunfermline side 2-1 at Murray Park this afternoon.

    Neil Alexander, Andy Webster and Richard Foster all started for the Light Blues against their First Division opponents.

    But after trialist Kerkar netted in the first half, it was Rory Loy who grabbed a late and deserved winner for the hosts.

    Neither side imposed themselves in the opening exchanges, with too many passes going astray and opportunities few and far between.

    And it took a flash of quality to finally separate the teams nine minutes before the break when Kerkar opened the scoring.

    Archie Campbell broke away down the right and centred for the French-Algerian but he still had plenty to do.

    The 23-year-old former Gueugnon midfielder did really well to step away from his marker and that created space for him to shoot.

    And although it wasn't the most emphatic of finishes, Kerkar was able to force the ball over the line.

    Stephen Stirling almost doubled the advantage with a fierce free kick after Kal Naismith was fouled and also drove wide from the edge of the area.

    Naismith himself had the ball in the net just before the break too but his effort was disallowed after Kerkar handled just before the shot.

    Dunfermline levelled immediately after the restart through a trialist striker and had other chances to go in front.

    But by and large it was Gers who looked more likely to move ahead again and Kerkar smacked the post when he connected with Gregg Wylde's driven cross.

    Stirling also hit the woodwork with a curling set piece from 25 yards before Naismith's follow-up was saved.

    Campbell had a good effort turned around the post then Loy missed twice before he finally got the goal that counted.

    Again it was Campbell who was the provider when he darted down the right to cross low for the striker to ram home in the closing minutes of the game.

    RANGERS: Alexander, Foster, Webster (Cole), McMillan, Wylde, Campbell, Hutton, Stirling, Kerkar, Loy, K Naismith (Crawford).

  5. It's because some of the blue ones in the list are only partially done or just have the categories on them. I usually put the flagicons next to them if they are completely finished. You can put them next to the red ones if you want as I can still see that they are not finished. :)
