Bit off topic but I received a 3 day ban from FF for posting instructions on where to get a link for a game, so decided to go on VB as I hadn't been on in a while. I noticed there was an "Imminent Cull" thread so posted in it saying that I admired the work done by VB and hoped I wouldn't get my account deleted as I wasn't very active.
I mentioned that I also posted on FF and RM and this was a reason that I wasn't on so much. As soon as I mentioned FF I had a few posters having a go and even one saying "You are at it, take this to PM". After FF was mocked and the Admin described as ban happy, I later receive a week ban from VB for nothing. Go figure.

Might do it that way with modern warfare 2. Does anyone know if Asda or Tesco is selling fifa 11 on thursday at 12pm?Got £13.30 on eBay for Fifa 10 about 3 weeks ago but will be less now no doubt.

That's us got a template for the 4 most common types of pages (players, seasons, opposition and matches).
That's RP just over a year in and it is looking amazing. Hopefully we can get the word out and more people will join and contribute. You just have to look at sites like Wikia to see that there are loads of people out there that will help to build good wikis on there favourite subjects. Some of the gaming ones like Call of Duty and Fallout are excellent. Keep up the good work lads.

Agreed, it will look better without links. Was just a suggestion but I thought it might ruin the look a bit.

Can't really think of any tweaks for the actual look at the moment. Should we have a gallery for recent games as I know SNS and Willie Vass have pics for most games from about the 90s onwards? -
I'll help with the matches once I'm done with the players and youths. Keep up the great work.
And fog don't worry if you can't do much just now, there's no rush and it is really starting to take shape now. I think a new sticky in the Bears Den is in order with pics, links and advice on how to help.

The kit pages look much slicker (couldn't think of another word
) now. Like the look of the match pages Is there a way we can put who came on as a sub? What do you think about putting the programme image somewhere like on Rangers History? -

Aye if you can work your magic on it then go for it. I don't have a clue how to do things like that.
I make that about 180 player profiles still to get done, out of 1300 odd, with some of these already started like the Hall of Fame ones. Hope I can get most of them out the way before I start new job next month (all going well with the final screening). The majority still need biographies but these are easy for anyone to add.

I would go with the usual back 4, Naismith - Davis - McCulloch - Weiss and Miller - Jelavic. We need to take the game to them and if we go with that line up I'm confident we'll get the win. -
A young Swedish guy......no idea who though.
Think it will probably be Fredrik Espling, a 16 yr old Swedish striker we had on trial last month. Heard at the start of September that he was being asked back over but had to sort out stuff about schools before returning.

I haven't had any free time to do anything recently
Not even posting as much on here or anything
On 18th October I finally start a new job so hoping to get most of the player pages done for then as I won't have much time. Don't worry about it mate, it will keep growing and there is no rush to get it done. There are 2 posters on FF who are interested in helping and I will send them another PM once my ban is finished.

I think we should have a template with the score, team badges, attendance, scorers, venue.
Aye that would be good and even bookings as well. We can add in a gallery and videos for more recent games but they don't need to be in the template. Templbluenose has badges already uploaded for lots of teams in the Opposition section.

We need to think of a better way of displaying the match reports. Like the look of the Rangers History ones but we could have a gallery and highlights for more recent games as well.

It was the FF Admin that were described that way, not VB's, and not by me. Just was a bit of a coincidence that I was banned the day after I posted in the thread. Never said anything wrong, all I did was state that there are plenty of knowledgeable bears on it amongst the timposters. Looking back I don't know why I even bothered explaining myself after I was asked why I used it. Just another example of the state of the relationship between the forums and support in general.
