Maybe he will be signed, however maybe we are waiting to see if we think he can compete in the SPL so we could maybe rest one of the cm's after or before a major European night?
Probably be a bounce game played soon to give guys like Alexander, McMillan, Wylde, Hutton, Perry, Shinnie, Loy, Ness, Fleck and Kerkar some game time.

That's been over 3 weeks now. Wonder when he will find out if he gets a deal?

but it lets me save the davie weir pic.
Right click on the Beattie pic and choose Save Page. The picture will be in the folder.

Which players are you putting it for? Don't think the guys with no first name need it or players still living.
-
Cheers, sorry about that it was my fault. It does look better with it just for the players who have died. I feel like a tit as you spent time adding these lines to the player profiles.
-
Doesn't seem to work. Tried it with Stan Anderson, have a look. http://www.rangerspedia.org/index.php/Anderson,_Stan

I feel bad because Templbluenose spent a bit of time doing V, W, Y and Z. My fault, sorry mate I will fix it.
-
So we will only use it for old players that we know the date of death and/or place of death?
Don't use it for living players and old ones that we don't know any info for?
-
Right I've took the 2 new things out the original infobox, how do I put the new infobox on the players who have died?
-
No worries mate it was only 2 or 3 of them.
-
Good work templbluenose. I was just removing spaces that you had left on a couple of the players and adding a place of death for George Young.
All the M players will be done with the new template from now on.
-
It does work.
I've added the 2 extra lines to the original template, so that means we won't have to go back and change all the ones aready done. Now when I checked a player's page the 2 new items were in the infobox. If we did it with the new template we would have to go back and change them all.
Do we definitely want these in it?
-
Should we have stuff like all the clubs that a player has played for on their page? Can get info from Wiki or 2 spreadsheets made by a guy at ScottishLeague.net. And what about signing information like date and fee and the same for when they left Rangers? For players that have died we could have date of death if available. The only problem is I'm not sure how to put these in the profile box bit now that we are so far in.
-
Cheers mate. If you can think of anything to do with the club that should be added then post it in here.
-
Just looked at his logs, seems to have been alot of spam that was posted in Jan.
And why has this been moved to Millar2,_Jimmy from Millar,_Jimmy ?
There was 2 Jimmy Millars but I had named one of them James Millar but forgot to move the page. Done now.

Much did you rake in for that lot?
Still selling just now, hoping for around £50. Got most of them cheap off Ebay but don't play them apart from Fifa and World Cup which I bought new. Just selling as the new Fifa is out soon. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/ahernandez2005/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686

I'll be getting GT5, Black Ops, Fifa 11 and Fallout New Vegas and possibly Assassins Creed Brotherhood. Just sold Fifa 10, World Cup 2010, Resistance, AvP, Skate 2 and Chronicles of Riddick to make way for them.

Rangers footballer John Tait Robertson who played for our club 1899-1905 went on to become Chelsea first ever manager. Maybe thats why we are the blues brothers.
-
in fairness, there wasnt HALF the trouble there could/should have been imo.
we actually showed constraint given the circumstances.
i honestly think that if this was say Man Utd or Barcelona fans, the place would have been smashed to smithereens as temperatures boiled over by EVERYONE.
we only had the odd few kick off
Th tims will never talk about the Barca riots in 2009 which were on a large scale because they have a 'pyoor speshul relashonship' with them. And this was after they won.

I've just watched the clip when the police officer is attacked and there is a group of maybe 30 who surround him when he falls. Most seem to be pulling the few that are laying in away. If they hadn't then we could have been looking at a whole lot worse. Out of the few hundred fans that were cordoned off in that street and are seen at the start of the clip, many seem to back off and let the police retreat, but there is that small group that decided it would be a good idea to attack him.
-
AHHHHHHHH.
That makes it ok then i guess.
Cheers for clearing that up
No it doesn't make it ok, but the numbers you are claiming makes it look a whole lot worse. On our bus home hardly a word was said by anyone, not because we had lost but because we knew the repercussions for the club because of the rioting. I felt completely numb.
-
I am not defending the poor Policing of the day. But what is everyones excuse for the pictures of roughly 800-1000 guys in Rangers shirts getting laid into the cops?
When i read about the Manchester day, this always seems to be conveniently forgotten.
Nothing even close to that number from looking at the video. Far less than that.

Had to push my way out of Picadilly to get to the ground as the police weren't letting people out. Why did they let so many in in the first place? You could hardly move and they realised that if we had scored there could have been deaths with people getting crushed. To then switch the screens off, after fans have travelled for hours to watch their team in what may be their only European final of their lifetime, was a recipe for disaster.
This still doesn't excuse the muppets that rioted. But out of any set of fans there are bound to be some that will react if they have been drinking all the day, herded like animals into a small space and not allowed to leave, then attacked by police with batons. The fannys that say that group of fans that rioted because we lost don't have a clue what they're talking about.
One other question is, does anyone actually know someone that was involved in the riots, ie laying into the cop? I've never met anyone that did.
-
Players like Jordan McMillan have been wasted IMO. He's 23 now and really missed out on a period where he could have really developed if involved with the first team more
Not 22 until October mate, but I see your point.
