What kind would you go for, if it was up to you?
We arent obviously going to get Mourinho etc but its just an example of the kind of managers they are.
So Rangers + Scottish
British + Bristish game
Europien + Europien styles
Worldwide + New Techniques.

My guess is a distant second in the SPL at best.
Europe - we would have been only in the UEFA Cup and not for too long either. If we made the CL we would have been bottom of the group with 3 points at most.
Carlos is worth a LOT of money in the transfer market.
Who knows. If we didn;t get him it is quite possible we could ahve gotten someone equally as good as he and done just as well.
There is little point in what if threads. They make no difference because we have got him and we did make these finals, and take the league to the last game.

I understand a top striker complaining about an opposing teams defensive tactics , but a defender ? Moaning and groaning about something Rangers perfected this season in Europe when he has spent his whole life trying to perfect such a defensive style. Hint of irony and alot of sour grapes there eh ?

I think he went to Benfica to basically get himself into the European market. I reckon he'll be at a bigger club before too long. I've only seen glimpses of him as well but every time I've seen him he's looked like he has enormous potential. He came on for about half an hour against Celtic in the Champions League and I thought he looked really good. Not great, yet, but I think he's got the potential to get there, and he's still very young.
Although I do doubt he'll ever be as good as Football Manager tells us
I remember signing him for Rangers when he was 16 and he scored about 70 goals in 60 odd games haha.Haha aye, Football manager always builds your hopes up , then when you see the player in real life he's mildly disapointing. Anthony Vanden Borre is a prime example , he's not at all as good in real life as on FM. Although i think Adu will be a great player in a few years, he has good potential

Kris Boyd is the best striker in Scotland

Over all. All spl games Boyd has a better goal to game ratio , VERY slightly though

I really wish the obsession with hating Cousin would stop on this forum.
Personally I'd like to see Cousin stay. Not only is he our best striker - I like his fiery attitude.
You must be kidding! His attitude stinks , not only does he get over angry and damage the clubs chances with silly confrontations he doesn't try at all and wants to fight relegation battle with Fulham rather than challenge in Europe with Rangers. I won't be sad when he leaves.
I like the big man as a player - decent goal scoring record and some truly superb performances. He'll probably be sold, but I'd be happy if he stayed.
He has had a few great performances yeah , Lyon away stood out. I do get the feeling he tried extra hard that game to show to France (lens) what they where missing. If he played like that every game i would be ecstatic.

The Full USA team was shite tonight and that includes our own DMB
For the build up he has had over the last few years he was, i wasn't overly impressed with what i seen
I've seen him play a few games and he's alot better than that!
If that was the only time you seen DMB, you would have been saying last year to stay clear!
Adu only had at the most 20minutes to change a game against 2 WORLDCLASS defenders, we should all know it doesn't work like that and at his age he will struggle at times.
Believe me this boy has the ability to reach the top of the game
