  1. My thoughts on the following (for what it's worth)

Mark Warburton - Would be happy with this.
Derek McInnes - Meh. Doesn't inspire me but would be willing to give him a chance.
Billy Davies - No. We need someone with newer ideas.
Stuart McCall - No. Had his chance, albeit with someone else's players, didn't show enough from a footballing point of view.
Alex McLeish - Definitely not. Some of the worst football i've watched was under McLeish
Felix Magath - Really? Dig out the ham and cheese!
Ian Cathro - Lack of experience a problem but his reputation and potential would appease me. Maybe the bright young man with new ideas that we need.

  2. I'm still worried that Chelsea might come in for Miller if Costa does indeed leave...

From what I hear Chelsea are after Falcao for £25m, I think we would need to be willing to take £20m for Miller if Chelsea were to buy him! Only because he is slightly older than Falcao!
  3. So zaliukas played great for 4 games, he had an off night last night and suddenly mohsni or foster are considered ahead of him?

Honestly, I completely forgot about Zaliukas!

    Moshni out Zaliukas in! :pipe:

  4. Just because Foster has put in some assists of late id have him there, Moshni just gives me the fear, he's a complete disaster.

We aren't exactly spoiled for choice though are we? :(

The problem is that in a back 3 you really need the three to defend, Foster wouldn't really be getting forward they way he tries to with a back four so when it comes to purely defending I would reluctantly choose Moshni. :(

  5. That back 3 :anguish:

    Foster over Moshni, easily.

I know but who else do we have?

I can't stand Foster, both him and Moshni are accidents waiting to happen but what can you do! I wouldn't have Foster in a back three.

  6. Why are people thinking that suddenly Boyd and Miller will be able to turn back to being goal scoring strikers ? They are years past their use by date, both know what to do but just cannot do it. McCulloch showed in the last few months in the bottom tier that he does not have the legs to play upfront and Clark does not have the basic ball control and vision to hack it.

A team of poor strikers and woefully weak central defenders so we are looking for a miracle.

I think everyone agrees that Boyd and McCulloch aren't the answer going forward but given that McGregor is suspended for Sunday who would you play instead?

Last night Boyd attacked more in 20 minutes than Clark and Miller have all season. I have always given Boyd a hard time and didn't think he was good enough for Rangers when he was knocking in 30+ a season but we have no potency up front. Last night we had 2 wingers getting the ball into the box and it's no surprise that the keeper made a great save from Boyd and he had one chopped for offside, no one is saying he is the answer but he might just bundle one over the line that gets us back into the tie!

  7. We need to go at them from the off on Sunday.

I've never been a huge fan of Boyd even when he did score loads against the diddy teams but last night showed that if you get the ball in the box he will attack it. Outside the box forget about him but our inability to convert chances is a real worry. So against everything I believe in I would play Boyd up top on Sunday with Miller doing the hard graft around him. 2 wingers to supply crosses for Boyd and I think Ferguson and Walsh did enough last night to warrant a start.

I'd go very attacking, something like this......
