  1. Manny weighs in at 147lbs. Bradley weighs in at 146.

How do you see it going mate? I fancy Bradley to cause Manny some problems, especially if he brings his head into play in the close exchanges!

Pacquiao will want Bradley to come forward in straight lines but i just can't see that happening. Bradley, even though he doesn't possess much power, is a smart fighter. That coupled with Manny looking so poor against Marquez last time out, makes 4/1 on a Bradley win seem pretty tempting!

  2. Bute is a monster at that weight

He's literally a light heavyweight who can get down to super middle

Froch has a great chin but has his body been tested like he will against Bute

I can see him bang that body for fun as froch will trade and hell come up short

    Bute by stoppage

Bute's left to the body is phenomenal, and his style makes him hard to hit.

Has he been in with anyone at Froch's level though? I don't really see too many big tests on his record, certainly nobody with the strength or intensity that Froch will bring tomorrow night.

As a big fan, I hope Froch can outwork him and grind him down. However, I fear he might leave himself too open and take some sickening body shots. Either way, it's going to be a great fight!

  3. Seems we may not be front runners in this deal.

Just need wait and see I suppose.

The rest of the quote reads -

'rangers are most definitely among the clubs who fit the bill. They are a famous club and always have the opportunity to play in Europe. McCoist is also a fantastic young coach who has played at a high level.'

  4. I think he gave Bocanegra a really hard time today, probably more so than any other striker in the league this season.

For those saying they think he is pish, would you rather we persisted with Healy? Sandaza is miles better, and for a few hundred thousand would be a shrewd bit of business.

  5. no way is he the best.

    jaskelainen, krul, hart all better

but the best in the uk is by far reina.

Jaaskelainen better than Sczcezny?! Come off it! Sczcezny has the potential to be one of the best keepers in Europe whereas Jaaskelainen has spent his career playing for a middle of the road EPL club, being steady but not spectacular. Sczcezny is miles better than him.

  6. Awful management tonight.

McCulloch let the team down badly at the weekend with a flying elbow.... and gets rewarded with an OF start. Then repays the faith by putting in a performance like that!

Edu, for all his failings, is head and shoulders above McCulloch. That's not a praise of Edu, more a damning of Jig. He never has, nor ever will be a DM.

Brilliant post. Hits the nail firmly on the head.

McCulloch let everyone down on saturday with his act of mindless aggression and cost the team what was a vital 3 points. If anything, the silver lining, however scant, that came from his red card was that he would be ruled out of tonight's game. For us to then go and appeal it just so we can get him in the team? Incredible, and beyond all comprehension. He offers as little as I've ever seen from a central midfielder. Passing ability? Not even a hint of it. Tackling? Awful, and just gives away stupid fouls. Attacking threat? None.

I suppose it says it all that the guy is now in his 30s and is still moving between positions, without having found one in which he's any good.

The sooner he decides to retire the better.

  7. Villa are the worst team I've seen in the EPL this season. Granted, I haven't watched a Bolton game live yet, but Villa are just so tepid and predictable, with very little creativity.

Heskey and Delfouneso is a deplorable strike force, no wonder they didn't even threaten to score today.

  8. Rios v Murray goes ahead, with Murray being able to win the title. Rios has to pay Murray $20,000 from his share of the purse.

Not a bad outcome for Murray, especially if Rios has pushed himself to the limit tonight trying to make the weight. Hopefully he will bring home the belt now.

  9. 'more than good enough for us at the moment'.

That statement horrifies me. Kirk Broadfoot never has, nor ever will be, good enough for us. He is a below average SPL player at best, and has a shocking attitude to go with it.

It's a sad indictment of where we are if some fans are happy with a guy like that in the team.
