Why would we knock back 900k for Wallace for us to accept a 50k bid for another first team player.... Who ever made the bid is crazy.

If you actually read the article - the title is slightly miss leading as King seems to be pretty positive about Wallace.

I raised this last season and picked through the uefa guidelines. We would be a failure as a business if we were not exploring every avenue that could increase our revenue and exposure.
We would be the talk of Europe if we were to force the SFAs hand. Strangely enough not one journalist has raised this specific point. At the moment the Scottish media seem happy to state we must have audited accounts - at no point have they questioned the SFA on this avenue.

Jim should be forced to retract his defense of the man. A caller branded Phil a Rangers hater and Jim jumped on his high horse far too quick for my liking. The tweet is just typical of the mindset of that scumbag.

Consistently under performed when you think of the money we spent. Should have at least made it out of the group stages.

Pointless, they have them in Spain as it's in the rules laid out by their FA, hence the reason the likes of Messi and Ronaldo have unthinkable release clauses - to ensure that they do not lose them as people are unlikely to meet their price.
However this would not protect us against low bids - for example say Walkace had a release clause of £5m - teams like Forrest would still not offer anything close to that valuation, we would realistically only get the £5m if he was romping it in Europe and at that point the rease clause would become a negative as it would limit the amount we would get.

Wallace had the chance to move to the championship and receive a big signing on fee when the rest jumped ship, the fact he has a young family and is the coach of his local amateur team I can't see him leaving.

Decent player, by the looks of it a decent lad too however not the type of signing we need. We need to cut our losses on the likes of Cribari, Hutton, Perry, Hegarty, Smith, Foster etc first.

People are missing the point.
Cutting the player budget is a short term solution. Which in my opinion is short sighted as it currently stands at 30% of our turnover.
Fans of other clubs are desperate to see us struggling to compete on the park and are trying to push the message we need to live within our means.
Well the 30% figure suggests we are already living well within our means on the park that on the park... We just need to stop the money disappearing off it.

Was talking about this the other day and was told Park was knocked back not once but twice by us before he went to them. Even got back in contact with us to say they had offered him a contract and if he could apply once more for the job with us. Massive bluenose.

Some people just want to criticise the management at every opportunity.
For what it's worth; the talk is that McKay's attitude stinks. This kind of move may make him appreciate the opportunity he has at Rangers.
