I Think it would be a good idea, however the FAI would probably have to come grovelling to the IFA's doorstep for this to happen. The FAI were the ones that took the huff and broke away in the first place, its ironic that the IFA are the only association to ever field an "Ireland" football team. It seems to work well for all the other sports that have an Ireland team.

People are getting carried away here. Dont get me wrong im a fan of Boyd but talk of him being a Gers legend Is so wide of the mark. People are only saying this because he broke larsons record but alot of those goals were scored for Killie. It also took him far more games to even equal the record. He hasnt been snapped up by an EPL team cos he's rubbish mate. I've watched him for the North and has never impressed me. Agree here. Celtic trounce us when it comes to marketing and promoting the club. I walked into Barcelonas superstore and seen a section of their store which is dedicated to selling Celtic merchandise ffs! Same in America, you can easily buy their Strips in any sports store but you cant buy ours. Re Tours of America, cellic along with Utd, Inter etc were invited, if there was a demand for us in America we would have been invited, sadly I dont think we are a draw to the Yank market. Our Club really need to get the finger out in this regard.
