  1. I'm sorry if anybody else has suggested this but I'm just back from the pub and haven't had time to read through this thread.

What if we done a shirt independant of the club and put all the proceeds into buying a corporate box, we could invite the erskine troops up every home game or any other charity worthy of our support.

This will circumvent the odious sport direct deal and put 100% of our money where we want it to go

    :uk:

  2. I remember hearing Walter smith talking about this, it's a tactical move that makes your team stronger at defending corners and set pieces from an airial (sp) threat.

The reverse was also true for our tactics, remember we have played jig, lafferty even big Duncan ferguson on the left wing in an attempt to exploit a smaller full-back in the other team.

  3. He wasn't having a good game.

But I wonder if the substitution was a lot more tactical than just hooking a player who was having an off day. Moving Jig to CB restored the CB partnership of last season - at least he and Moshni know each others play whereas the Zal / Moshni understanding is still in its infancy. That in itself should have brought some greater defensive stability in the game with Zal being under par. Also it allowed a change of approach in midfield and if the game still needed to be chased towards the end then the option of throwing Jig or Moshni up front may have provided more flexibility to Ally in terms of options than the choice of Moshni or Zal.

    This

I like everybody thought his substitution was a bit strange for me moshni should have been the player hooked.

However after a post-match analysis of the game with my mates (lubricated with plenty of Stella )

This is what we agreed on aswell.

As a partnership they just weren't working so it was a great tactical move by ally to revert back to last seasons partnership.

Now when's the last time you seen great tactical move and ally in the same sentence.

The man is due some credit for this switch.

  4. it is the so called fans who are to blame. Cunts siding with dave king, boycotts. They have done what our enemies couldn't . Don't anybody kid themselves we are fucked. Even if we survived this and went into admin again . Who is going to support rangers in bottom tier again

    ME

Rangers are in my blood, and I couldn't give two f@cks wether you were there or not.

  5. Fed up with this - if you dont know we used to do this at Ibrox

Are you allowed to like your own post lol

This stadium was born to rock

    Superb choice of game there

  6. In other words, 20million wasn't enough a couple of years ago. We should just continue pouring our earned money in to the club regardless of how it is used.

My family and mortgage come before any other expenditure. I will be damned if I'm struggling through life to line the pockets of these greedy bastards. Lessons should have be learnt by the club. We have stood still, if not backwards, since we were sent to the 4th tier.

That was our chance to regroup and rebuild!

That's gone now and it's not the fault of the supporters.

Fair enough that's your opinion and I respect that.

    Here's mine,

I love supporting the team and enjoy my match day experience and I won't give that up for anything.

I have never owned and never will a scarf that says I support the boardroom of Rangers Football Club. I will always be there circumstances permitting to support my team especially in this time of need I won't be found wanting.

  7. Iain, please explain to me (In laymans terms) how depriving the deep pockets of our board and their 'onerous contract' owners 'weakens the club that we all love'

Do you really believe the board sneak out of a side exit after every home game with their pockets stuffed with cash from the game receipts ?

  8. Yes

C'mon fellow bears trying to damage the board by boycotting our home games only has one real outcome, it weakens the club that we all love.

Please stop this futile action and let's all get back to supporting our team through thick and thin.

    We Are The People :uk:

  9. Stevie Smith is the only 1st team squad player who can consistently deliver a ball from open play or a set piece. I would have the rest of them practising this every afternoon.

When he came on on Saturday peralta put his first three cross balls right on the head of a rangers player.

He ain't no right winger but he can cross the ball well.

Maybe that's why ally persists in playing him wide right as he can deliver a ball if he gets into position.

  10. Meaningless trophy that we should be fielding youth in.

Hearts didn't field their first team tonight, and lost 4-1 to Livingston because their main objective and focus is the league; as ours should be. We need to win the league, anything else is a bonus, if we can win this shitey cup with youth, then great. But I'd not risk throwing out the first team to win it.

Yes, totally agree we should be blooding our young players in this tournament.

The league is our obvious priority followed by the Scottish cup, which could be a passport into the Europa league qualifiers next season.

  11. Thanks for the highlights vid bombaybadboy that was enjoyable watching that.

I wonder if the peter LIESWELL influenced Scottish media will review their valuations of lurch and Virgil van dick, they both had a shocker.

Hopefully Southampton have watched the mistake P.S.G. Made in signing overly hyped players.

    :uk:

  12. Why did we sign Boyd ?

I think it has something to do with him being the best predatory striker in Scottish football, and also the fact he was avaliable on a free transfer.

ffs some people just love to be negative and be critical of all things Rangers.

It's only pre-season get a grip of yourselves.
