xojcb6.jpgShame it wasn't the Hamilton physio, I'd eat baked beans off her arse.

Looks better in real life. Allowed her to borrow my umbrella a few years ago much to the Accies players amusement.

In all the years I've been at Ibrox, regardless of the performance, We have always came out the tunnel as a team to the music. Last night summed up this 'squad'. Running out in dribs and drabs. Had to start the music twice and Miller roasted a few of them for running out early. Granted it's not a massive deal to most but it's so amateur it's unbelievable. Stating the obvious but it's miles away from where we need to be.

You could be right but it is to me. The team should return to the park as one and not the 2 or 3 at a time we witnessed last night.

  3. Beerman reminds me of Tom Cowan, who played left-back in the early 90s. Technically decent, who impresses going forward more than actual defending. At least there is something there to work with and improve unlike the majority of his teammates who showed no desire or pride in their performance.

Aidan Wilson & Jamie Barjonas will also play a part in the team going forward in the years to come.

You are spot on there - MA has the potential to be our saviour though - a cheap way into the champs league for him (cheaper than getting Newcastle there anyway). Can't believe I am actually typing that I want him to oust King - not ideal but the best of a bad bunch of suitors - we are going nowhere at the moment. At least having some money to bring in players should count for something going forward

Would make more money from Newcastle in PL than us in CL.

Ashley isn't the answer but shows the desperation at our current predicament that he's even being mentioned as some kind of saviour.

Too early to judge PC? that's the worst performance against them at Ibrox ever, who is he again ? And why did the board bring him here ?   He has done nothing in football as a manager and after Sunday 2-0 going on 7 drubbing and yesterday's performance I have seen all I need to see.

Why did the board give him a year contract instead of a rolling contract?   We are now going backwards and from the board to the manager to the players they are all responsible.

This is far worse than under Warburton

I understand why you think the way you do but i'll wait and see who arrives and departs before making a judgement.

He's on a three year deal not one btw.

To be fair Kennedy has. Good or bad thats another debate, but he was certainly interested.

No one will come near us will Kings around. Be honest, would you fuckin trust him with your money? Nae chance.

Unless he can actually provides proof of what he brings to the table, or starts stumpin up cash, then he should fuck off. Hes doing more harm than good.

Kennedy had a look along with Souness and decided not to get involved long before King was calling the shots.

There is no-one looking to throw the kind of money required at us. We have been passed from one chancer to another in recent years. People like that tend to attract similar kinds.

    Everything hinges on if

I'm just putting down what they need to do, whether they do or not is up to them, I know deep down they'll never invest the amount we really need.

I believe they will invest further and particularly if they qualify for the CL group stages.

There is no easy fix although i do agree that a few decent signings through the spine of the team would improve us greatly and this is where we should concentrate our resources.

If the tims do sell the likes of Dembele, Tierney, Armstrong etc... You know, the big £20m per player ones?

I don't worry about who they'll bring in.

As I've said on many occasion, Rodgers only successful signing was Sinclair. Toure, De Vries, Gamboa. Eboue haven't made any impact at all.

Rodgers signing history with Liverpool is woeful. He's not good with money. He spent well over £100m during his time with Liverpool and has absolutely fuck-all to show for it.

They're miles ahead of us, aye, but if we can at least bring in 3 or 4 quality players who can make a difference and they lose a say 2 or 3 of their first team players then it'll be a lot closer next season.

The money-men at Ibrox must see this, but they don't normally give a fuck, do they?

    If my auntie had ............................................

    You know the rest

It's up to the board to find a way to get the investment we need.

Our finances have improved in the last year, with additionally revenue from Europe this season we might get close to breakeven. (Excluding transfer fees)

We need to invest, not just to be successful, but to increase revenue and start an upwards spiral.

An investment in players of the right age who can be sold on to generate additional revenue which is invested in more players and the cycle continues.

What we don't want to do is waste money like we did last summer, the money spent on fees/wages of Garner,Barton etc when there's little chance of any return.

Firstly we need an excellent scouting system, to ensure whatever money we have to invest provides value.

We have to be in  the Champions League to attract serious transfer money from the EPL.

Without it the players Celtic have sold would be worth a fraction of the price.

They have the resources to invest further making your point re - scouting the most important imo. We recruited poorly in the last couple of transfer windows and this has to be improved upon.

    Spot on mate.

Something like that would need to be run at arms length through a liaison role, but then it would be a nightmare to try and put in place.

The idea of a fund though would allow fans to take action and better the team.

    Agree with you.

Something so simple and obvious that many including myself would contribute to but sadly will never come about mainly due to a lack of trust.

Don't contribute to Club 1872 for the same reason

I've said for a while that there should be a transfer fund to allow fans to take action and not rely on a board who will not stump up.

I pay my season ticket every year but if there was a designated fund set up to allow fans to donate I'd stick an extra £50-100 quid im each season.

Think wider fan base, people who can't make games but would contribute towards the development of the team. Not just season ticket holders.

We have such a wide fan base that you could generate and fund some quality signings on an annual basis.

Its drastic but needed as the board aren't going to fund anything.

Biggest problem would be the governance of such a fund to make sure the money is used for that purpose.

There you have the  reason it won't happen.

There is little if any trust among the support right now.

  12. The simple answer is there is no easy short-term answer.

Money men like Jim McColl or Brian Kennedy have shown no inclination to purchase a majority shareholding in the club.

People are angry re-the lack of serious investment from the current hierarchy but i personally don't see any alternative at present.

I don't think he lost the dressing room I fear he is not good enough, We have been found wanting big time , I fear the worst under him and have now lost all faith I had in this board as they have shafted us

    Agree re-the board.

Still think it's too early to judge PC.
