Chelsea away top has been announced
That would have made a cracking away top for us.

I don't get it. Will Galaxy own this new franchise? Why would something like that be in a contract? What's stopping anyone from starting a team?
I'm pretty sure MLS players are technically owned by the league and not the team which would explain how they could promise the offer of a franchise. I'm sure I read fairly recently that the only place he wouldn't be allowed to setup a franchise was NYC and with the money that Man City etc have spent on that one it makes sense.

Oh dear
I'm literally terrified for ourselves!
Cardiff City are now allowing season ticket holders to vote on what shorts they would prefer with the top. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-south-east-wales-22722605
I think the thing I'm finding most disappointing about our new top is that without anyone seeing it we can pretty much guarantee exactly what it's going to look like. Be nice to see strip manufacturers showing a bit more in terms of originality with the templates they put out.
-
New Hearts top. I think its an absolute shocker, exact same template as the Stoke away and the white bands and atrocious sponsor just seal it. Their Umbro tops looked quite good as well.
-
I quite like plain looking tops but that England kit must have taken someone a good 3-4 minutes to come up with. Nike released the USA centenary kit a few months back and they completely nailed it in my opinion but this one is just lacking anything.
-
That PSG kit is a shocker, PSG seem quite an easy team to knock up a kit for too as the colours compliment each other well. It looks a bit like one of those early 90's tops that were shiny.

Newcastle Away and keeper jersey. If anything it's an idea of what we can possibly expect for keeper tops etc.

Stoke's new away top has been announced

No it was a English team, have Partick also got a vomit inducing away kit?
That was Bradford City the other day. Few years back Partick had a pink and grey camo number.
I'm fully expecting the kit to look pretty much identical to that. When Puma signed Dortmund they were supposed to be the flagship team and their new kit uses that same template. Only team that Puma ever seem to do anything too different for is Italy nowadays it seems.

Delighted that Wigan won, well deserved too. Fancied them for an upset and stuck £10 on at 9/1 after 70 minutes in the game.

I follow Torino as the their the father in laws team and I've seen them a few times over the years. Had a decent start to the season but sitting 16th at the minute with 4 games left. 4 points above relegation so hopefully manage to spend more than 1 season in Serie A this year.
Yesterday was actually the 64th anniversary of the Superga disaster which killed almost the entire Torino team who are now referred to as Il Grande Torino. At that time they were the most dominant team in Italy and it wasn't unusual for the national team to be made almost entirely of Torino players. I've been to the actual memorial spot and listening to the wifes old man talking about Torino it's hard not to have a soft spot for them.
If anyone wants to read anymore about the Superga Disaster the wiki link is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superga_air_disaster

Sebo's against the sheep was mental. Guy sitting behind me basically came crashing down on top of me when the ball went in the net. Hemdani's equaliser against celtic was a good one, was my first old firm game and we never looked like getting anything from that game.

I was 11 then and got to go to the Brugge game. Even now I remember the atmosphere when Nisbet's goal went in.
I'm pretty sure John Brown was one of the ones who said the game shouldn't be replayed. Something about you wouldn't run the grand national again or something similar, old memories though so I stand corrected if wrong.
Best chance we'll probably ever have as well, odds are stacked so heavily now against anyone outside one of the major European leagues.

When St Johnstone beat us 2-0 in the league cup at Ibrox during Le Guen's run I left as soon as the second goal went in. Was absolutely baltic and you knew we could have played all night and still not scored. I had a lift home and everything sorted so ended up jumping the subway and then a bus home, wasn't the only one leaving as well went that second goal went in.

Sky showed quite a good shot from overhead which suggested in never went close to going out - must admit, the traditional angle made me think that was the issue.
Wasn't even close to going out. Unfortunately the linesman was nowhere near where he should have been and he just took a stab at it and got it wrong.
As much as Scotland aren't a great team they had two absolutely massive decisions go against them which affected the game.

Really liking this years FIFA. Tackling feels much more solid and I like the additions to the dribbling.
Loving some of the small touches as well. Had to start with us vs them and in my first game I got Little into the box took a shot and thanks to a massive deflection off an arm the ball looped into the net giving me a 1-0 victory. Noticed Cole getting booed too when I played Arsenal vs Chelsea at the Emirates today which was a nice touch.

Looking forward to Stann vs Bisping and hopefully Bisping finishing off Stann. I find Stann incredibly dull and I'd like to see him getting finished.
Not got huge expectations about the main event. I'd be surprised if it went past the first as Belfort needs to charge in to make up the distance and I can see Bones picking him apart. Would love to see Belfort win but I honestly don't see how he'll do it unless he catches Jones pretty quickly.

I'd be all for Adidas but I'd be hopeful we didn't end up with a template kit. Some sort of tribute to the 94-96 home kit would be a cracking start in my opinion.
One thing I'd love to see us do is move away from the 3 new tops a year stuff. I know it's done for revenue reasons but I'd love to see us moving towards giving tops 2 year life cycles as I think it would give people more incentive to buy a top and we wouldn't need to slash the prices of the tops quite so quickly.
-
Hi guys, my very first post. Many folks are simply dismissing the Ramsden cup exit. I dont for the very simple reason that we need every pound of revenue we can get.Hard to guess how far we would have got, but a million quid gone surely.
A million quid? You're at the wind up here.

Great gesture but what's going on with that woman's face piercing at 3 minutes in?
-
definitely agree with the posts about James Milner. I don't really rate Walcott too much either as I think he's struggled with the hype but he's still young.
-
I get the sentiment but I think posts like this come across as sounding a bit patronising. I've seen similar posts here that almost sound like other clubs should be falling over themselves as if we're doing them a favour paying them a visit. We all know that isn't the case and we're in SPL3 to do a job and get back up the leagues.
Best thing we can do is we can just get out on the pitch and let our football do the talking.
Not having a go at you OP I've just seen a few of these posts recently.

Your patter is both brutal and completely nonsensical.

I've been to a few games in Italy and they tend to be pretty strict with ID for games. I've bought tickets before games and on the day of the game and I've always needed my ID with me so make sure you take your passport with you. When you go through security they'll check your passport again and search you too so something to be aware of.

I've always enjoyed having a beer at games when I've been in Italy and its something I miss at games here. It's something I don't think will ever change here though which is a pity.
