  1. I would buy a White scarf if the profit is going to the club not to the RST unlike the other scarf.

I too would have prefered the White scarf, But i will still get the Black and Red one as a matter of fact i took an order for 20 scarfs from my work tonight with more to come, The money raised will be used to buy any unsold tkts for next few home games and given to Schools, BB's ect, so the money IS going to Rangers and NOT to the RST.

  2. Only knew one guy who went to the academy Billy lang was his name, went through 28 in83,84 wee wully was in the chair (god rest his soul)

Smashing wee guy, I think he was a Deacon when i joined (79)

I used to do the bar at the harmonies and the odd function, i think it was Stuart Sands that was in the chair when i went through.

  3. Born and bred in Kirkintilloch my self but have been living in Oz for years,i went to the high school, was in the 6thBB a member of KRSC (before the move) and a member of lodge no 28 and am 48 years old we might know the same people.

How you doin mate, I am 51 now and went to Lenzie Academy, was a member of the Waterside RSC until it unfortuatly ceased :( I too am a member of Lodge 28. :D

  4. I was fortunate enough to attend the tour yesterday, what a fantistic day out with like-minded people of all ages, I was speaking to a 77 year old man who had only come out of hospital, and he said it was one of the best days out he has had in years, :D

  5. Come and join us on a journey of discovery back to 1872 when The Rangers were just the dream of a group of young kids who gathered on Fleshers Haugh. They had no ball, no football kit and used a bush as a changing room.

Their Club which they nurtured was to become the world's most successful and it all happened on the streets of Glasgow.

Our journey takes us to the area of Fleshers Haugh where The Rangers played their first ever match, we also visit Glassford Street, Union Street, Berkeley Street, Burnbank, Kinning Park, Craigton Cemetery and many other places of interest before finishing off our day with a tour of our magnificent Ibrox Stadium.

During our journey we have a 30 minute break at Hamilton Crescent which was the scene of the Rangers first ever Scottish Cup Final in 1877. It gives everyone the chance to unwind and grab a beer at a beautiful and historical setting.

  6. What can you do? So I take it their's nobody else posting.. just him?

Not much gets me p"d off, but if he's saying offensive things about Davie Cooper...mad.gif

He really is a sad peice of work, Everyone who has tragically died or been murdered is getting ridiculed, i'm normally a laid back type of guy, But bastard is starting to get to me.

  7. Wore my Poppy today in school and got scrutinised by a friend (a Celtic fan) who told me that the only reason I was wearing it was because I was a Bear and enjoyed winding them up.

It can be certainly said that I didn't talk to him for the rest of the day.

Had the privilege of doing 8 weeks of voluntary work at Erskine Hospital and I've never had the same outlook on life since.

 Thats brilliant mate, thats something i hope to do in the future.

  8. If you buy that badge from the traders outside Ibrox, it is unlikely any of those funds go anywhere near Erskine or British Legion (i hope i'm wrong .. but doubt it !)I buy my Poppy every year from a proper vendor, make sure my donation goes where it belongs.

Thats true mate,n " Tin hat on here " But you can get the REAL Rangers poppy badges off the guys that sell the FF fanzines. ;) And all the money raised goes to the Erskine appeal.

  9. I'm looking for a couple of Man Utd tickets at Ibrox, I have been to the last two games, I now wish i had taken the package, but i was'nt sure i would get the time off work but i have now been told i can. :)

So on you go guys make my day !! :uk:
