  1. These pictures can be put on any website or shown wherever you like mate. Not a VB or RM promotional or anything like that. But to show Bears working together and honouring one of our founding fathers.

    Together we are stronger!

You mean unlike another website using them and insinuating this was their work?

I have just been on another website which hase well over 100 replies all complementing the guys who did this tremendous peice of work, and NOT ONCE did i see anyone on that site " Insinuate " that it was their work.

Did you see any comments saying Vanguardbears were involved? If not - why not? Surely if a Rangers supporters website, erects a headstone for a founding father, then out of courtesy, you would mention the people involved in such a project?

Have you read all the posts that are being chopped mentioning VB?

Did you see all the bans handed out, giving the following reason?

You have been banned for the following reason:

No Vanguard Bears talk on FF please.

Unity is strength my friend and our unity was shown by everyone from VB, RM and other Rangers websites contributing to this great cause. Others refused to get involved and refuse to acknowledge who did what. Regardless of that, 99% of Bears are united and have a common cause.

I just came upon that thread after about 100 replies, and yes i did notice one post that mentioned the VB being removed :( i don't know anything about the bannings mind you,

But with all due respect mate FF is not exactly treated on RM and VB with much enthusiasim to say the least, i don't come in here very often now because of all the badmouthing that goes on and i just think that is very sad indeed, But good luck with future Rangers related projects.

  2. Disapointed that the protest was directly almost solely at Donald Muir. Imo, any protest should be directed at the club for not explaining the situation fully. Why is nobody asking for our chairman to come out and clarify the club's situation? Why is it only Donald Muir who has to?

Because people think he's in charge of the finances and isn't being clear as to where he wants to bring the club ?

I agree he should outline exactly what role he is playing, but I don't understand why nothing is being asked of our chairman.

Because our chairman has done a big vanishing act ? :sherlock:

Better than Muir who I've never actually seen in the first place

The guy coming up the stairs with the blonde hair in the photo above in the main stand looks fairly like him....... :sherlock: I may be mistaken though.

I think that could infact be David Mason the club Historian, they do look very alike.

  4. I'll be sending in a donation next week.

Frankie, I'm guessing it wont be much different from previous banners but the scale of it could put a shiver through Lloyd's spine.

I can understand the bank wanting their money back, but I don't see them taking such drastic actions at other clubs with higher debts and lower takings.

Iniesta, I can only salute the way you have taking abuse on the chin here, anyone who has resorted to that is a fucking bellend imo

    Well said mate.

    Rafa, ;)

  5. I'll be honest, there are a few keywords used in thread titles on RM that completely put me off reading what's inside.

RST is the main one. I don't kid on for a moment that I understand much about it, simply because there's rarely a 'grown up' debate on the subject. The threads always descend into a infantile argument between the usual suspects and people like myself can't make head nor tail of it.

There are plenty of other thread titles that make me avoid reading what's behind the heading, but for the point of this post, the RST thing is most appropriate.

I need to ask - whatever happened to one group of fans following the same dynamic? I completely understand that we might have our favourite managers/players/formations/tactics to argue about, but when I see separate groups of fans trying to win these 'mini-battles' amongst each other then it makes me bash my head off the wall in frustration.

Is it not about time we all pulled together, regardless of secondary influences? The future of the club is more important than the petty squabbles between different factions of fans, I just wish it was as black and white as this to everyone.

    Rant over.

Well said you ! Like you i have stated on here many times on how i dislike this " US and THEM " shite, we are all Rangers supporters are we not ! and we all want the best for Rangers Football Club, so it's time we ALL got our heads together and went in the right direction " AS ONE "

    Thats my rant over. ;)

  6. I've got the programme for the Jack Kelsey testimonial.

I have the cover on the site would be good to reproduce the whole programme you got a scanner? If so scan the lot and send it to me email on the site.

    Cheers

Yes I saw the cover, that's what reminded me that I have it.

I think it's up in the loft and also my scanner's not working, but at some point I'll get it to you.

    Cheapskate, :D

  7. Very simple.

Good news and projects like yours and this should be shared within the entire Rangers community should they not.

After all it is our history and our heritage therefore surely every fan should be able to read about this or even offer assistance if they feel so inclined.

I don't know any reason why YOU or ANYONE else cannot Read about any of the Founders Projects ! I Mainly use FF, But i still come on here every day for a Blether, So don't be Fooled or Talked out of going onto Other sites to read any other Projects that are on-going. ;)

Well while you're mainly using FF, ask their Admin why this project is continually chopped and banned. I'd love to ask them myself but I got banned each of the last five times I raised one of their taboo subjects. Ironically, the last time it was about censorship. :)

I can't answer for the Admin mate, I hate to see all this " us and Them " pish as a Gers fan i'm really dissapointed about this Rift that seems to split the camps, I do know that a few people on here have no time for MD, and thats their buisness, But if you come on here and constantly slag off FF ( his Site) then i think you know the reason why post/threads don't last long on HIS SITE, If you lothe FF so much why go on there and post ?

  9. whittiker and thomson were shocking....... and as for LM.......holding midfiedler my A**e...... the only thing he holds up is the players around him.....!!!!!

need to take a reality check as we simply don't have the players to play at this level...... it's simple...!!!!!need to concentrate on the league now and make sure we get the revenue money for the champs league again......!!!!

Thats where that old saying comes true, " you don't miss them until they are not there " By that i mean, BARRY FERGUSON ! we could have done with him in that midfeild last night, Just to put his foot on the ball instead of treating it like a " Hot Tottie "

Ah well there's always next year.

  10. i've known his dad gordon for the last 8 yrs, used to work with him at bec plastics in cumbernauld. he was always keeping me informed of gregg's career, i remember when he played for celtic n he was the ball boy at a lot of matches but he has always been a diehard rangers fan

l think he is a Kirky boy.

I think your right mate, My wife used to work with his mammy in Kirkie.

  11. In fairness Bb, how often have you seen RM even mentioned on FF?

Thats true " Chick " The fact that it is hardly mentioned at all is in complete contrast to RM where it is mentioned so often and mostly in a bad light. We all KNOW that MD runs FF as a buisness and why not ! it's his baby and if he makes money from it good on him, But as far as i know the RST is not being run by his " Yes Men " I know a few of the Trust spokespersons and they have their own minds and thoughts.

  12. No real need for a poll is there?

Outwith (and to some extent within) FF most people are of the opinion that both are too close.

Can I ask why it's an issue if the RST is thought to be close to FF?

Simply because one man refuses to unite with other Rangers fans, unless there's money in it for him. The man who runs the RST, which is supposed to represent Rangers fans, is in actual fact smearing fellow Rangers fans, threatening others and making large amounts of cash from the gullable.

    That's why it matters!

Who is this guy that is threatening and smearing fellow Rangers fans ? i have been a regular on FF now for about 2 years and NOT once have i been threatened or had my character smeared ! I have only been a poster on here for a few months which i have enjoyed, but i am Dismayed at the amount of Bitching which seems to be going in only one direction, Is this a peronality clash between only one or two people on here, or is it the General concensus of RM ? Because on NO occasion have i ever seen RM bad mouthed on FF. <cr>

  13. would love to hear it at Ibrox.

I used to love singing that song, it was sung at such a slow pace that the whole support could sing it at the one time, instead of this feckin rush to get to the end of the song BEFORE the rest of the ground have started singing the bloody thing.

The best thing about THIS song is ! THE TARRIERS HATED us singing it because it was a much louder and more colourful than their

    ynwa drivel.

GET IT SUNG, LOUD and PROUD. :uk:

  14. I was told by an "official" from the Founders committee that I shouldnt do anything at Peter McNeils grave as his Grandaughters still visit the grave and it may upset them. EH?

    Edited to include this,

I was told by the same person that the reason why nothing was being done about William McBeath was that theyre are laws regarding paupers graves. My answer to that was surely the Lincolnshire authorities would be sympathetic to this.

So an extra well done to VB for working there way through these laws and I understand the Lincolnshire authorities were very helpful Thank you Lincolnshire.

Ive never heard of a Founders committe? Any idea what it is?

Yes there is a Founders commitee working on FF who are doing some fantistic work in the research of our Founders, to date they have persuaded the Glasgow (kaflik ) councel to allow a plaque to be placed at the Birthplace of our club, they have organised tours of all Rangers related places of intrest and there is also a banner on the way.

Now i have noticed a lot of friction on here between FF, RM and VB in particular :( I wish for the memories of our Founders we could work hand in hand with each other on new projects wich will arise as time goes on. It's time differences were put aside and we looked ahead with a more ADULT outlook, it dosn't mean you have to go out and have a beer with them, just don't belittle anything, whatever or whoever decides to do something for the good of GLASGOW RANGERS. :uk:

Your preaching to the converted on here mate, Try posting anything related to VB on FF and see how long it lasts,

Aye ah know :( All because of a couple of personality clashes or so i'm led to belive, but there are a few on this site who seem to distance themselves from FF,

I've only been on FF for about 2 years and i never even knew about RM until a few months back  so to say it gets badmouthed on there is not really true, But as you can see i have only been on here a short time and i have noticed a few who " tut Tut " when you menion FF <cr>

  16. I have recently visited the graveside of Peter McNeil and of Bill Struth ( which is only a few yards away ) and the areas around the gravestones are an absolute disgrace  I was going to go with my son and strim and cut the grass around it but i was told that the Parks/cemeteries dept were working their way up to that area,! When, next, week, month, year ? I will return after the new year and if it's still in the same state i will endeavour to clean it up.

PS, Did you know that Ibrox can be seen from both graves ! Accidental or deliberate !
