Does anyone use a vpn.  How does that work.
    does anyone use norvpn

I use digibit vpn it's £2.5 month when selecting a country go for the closest as possible Ireland for example as a vpn will slow your speed down and may affect your stream quality

  2. I will be there for 3 weeks don't want to miss the european games i know the area quite well over the years the 2 bars i would normally go to watch the games have now closed just wondering if any of our Bears could recommend any other bars in the area.

  3. Alright lads I'm looking for info on this pub bar med, it's in the torreviejca area and I'm heading there on Friday.

Has anyone been there recently and if so do they show all our games live ie through rtv or streams, or do they just show what's on sky or bt sport.

Any other info on possible bars that my be showing the livi game will be appreciated.

I have a place in Torrevieja and have been in the Bar Med a number of times, it has around 5 screens and will show a number of matches on a sat. some from foreign channels and the others from skysports or btsports its unlikely you will get the game on sat. against Livi. the bar is in cabo roig and sits in the street running parallel with the main drag., i would recommend it for food and more of a family bar and the staff are quite friendly, hope this helps enjoy your hols m8

  4. He was, without doubt, the greatest ever player to grace the Oval pitch in a competitive game.

Eusebio da Silva Ferreira was the focal point of the superb Benfica team from the 1960's and the main reason that 40,000 people packed the Oval on Wednesday 13th September 1967. John Colrain's Glentoran side had just returned from their highly successful North American tour and the squad were at their peak.

It was the days before seeding and the two teams, champions of Northern Ireland and Portugal, were paired together in the European Cup. The Glens went in front on 9 minutes when Tommy Morrow was fouled in the penalty area by Jacinto; player-manager Colrain converting the resulting penalty. Eusebio was man-marked by Tommy Jackson but occasionally, when he did find space, Albert Finlay in the Glentoran goal was equal to him. Finlay even saved a penalty from Graca when Eusebio was adjudged to have been fouled by Billy McCullough. Five minutes from time, Glentoran were denied a win when Eusebio struck a superb equaliser. Torres knocked the ball down to Jose Augusto who pushed it on to the waiting Eusebio. His shot, according to the Belfast Telegraph's, Malcolm Brodie, 'hit the net like a rocket leaving the launching pad'.

Eusebio would return to Northern Ireland on several more occasions with his beloved Benfica and the Portugese nationalpost-5343-0-49794800-1389025288_thumb.jp side but that night, almost 50 years ago when he played at the Oval, was one of the greatest occasions Glentoran Football Club has ever known.

Eusebio passed away following a heart attack. The terms 'legend' and 'world class' are used much too often these days however both sum up this footballing genius from Mozambique. Rest in Peace, EUSEBIO.
