Aye, some people have got short memories. Papac and Whittaker were immense last season but they still seem to come in for a lot of stick. Here's an observation for you. I noticed last year that the full backs were playing very 'narrow'' and we were constantly getting done by teams attacking us down the flanks (Dundee United ) Notice this year we seem to have narrowed the pitch? My theory? We have a certain central defender who, bless him, is just past his best and we can't leave him exposed hence the full backs shuffle inside a lot. Papac's form has dipped but he did , i believe, pick up a knock in pre season.
