Delighted with the reaction from the players second half however my highlight of the day was oor Kirk trying a Beckham-esqe crossfield pass around 60 mins. If only we could say it bobbled or even he was under pressure or was on his 'bad' foot but no up steps Kirk no pressure and woooof oot the park 20 yards behind the man. At least he gives us all a laugh! Anyone with a clip please post it for some light entertainment for the weekend. Maybe Charlie Green could send it to You've Been Framed and get £250 for the club?

Watch football at any level and goals scored from free kicks are the result of whipped deliveries with pace into dangerous areas where it gets defenders turning and makes goalkeepers unsure whether to come or not. Our deliveries last night consisted of hanging a floated cross onto either weir or mccullochs head. Simply not good enough at any level never mind against guys like Jonny Evans who are good in the air. The only way we were ever scoring from once of these aimless free kicks last night was in the hope that someone got a knock down and we got lucky. There was no chance that anybody was scoring direct from the header due to the lack of pace on every single delivery. How often do you see it every week down south that a team sucks up all the pressure and scores their goal from a well worked set piece? Last night was an embarrassment that we cant try something a little different and make a goalkeeper at least come and claim a ball. This must improve.

Every single home game against the so called lesser teams in the league we should be introducing one or two of the young boys and giving them the experience they need to start pushing through...no reason why at 2 or 3 nil up at ibrox we cant be giving one or two of them a half hour run out or even starting the likes of wylde or hutton every so often rather than playing guys like broadfoot half fit....as for fleck i still cant get excited about him whatsoever.
