Strangely enough McGregor was intervieed Turkish tv yesterday talking about much higher the standard of football is in Turkey (the teams are much more equal) and how he played for by far the biggest club in Scotland and having spent 19 years at Rangers they will always have a big part of his heart

Fair enough. If you drop him for sometime, and Alexander comes in and is successful (and from the comments here it seems most seem to think that Alexander is a safer pair of hands) then that would be it for McGregor as Rangers number one.
