  1. aye ok, so we chucked away the league because we were tired then. I run 20 miles a week training for a half marathon, with no real ill effects these guys should be able to do it, given that they are professional footballers! i'm sure for 15-20k a week i'd be able to handle it
  2. we hear this pish spouted at the end of every season for the last 3 years, and also during the le guen tenure. he is going nowhere, realise this and get on with it. Its players we need and motivation, not a chairman
  3. a game every 3 days....who knows how the players can handle the 'punishing' schedule in a world cup or euro championship then eh? the tired excuse is quite frankly embarrasing, i cringed in work the other day when i heard a fellow bear trying to tell one of the tims that was why we had lost the uefa final.
  4. cousin=excess baggage jettison the chancer ASAP
  5. the SPL is nothing to do with the fact that we lost the league mate!
  6. the players 'being tired' is not an excuse, for the money they get paid they should easily be able to play 3 games a week, come on.
  7. been a bear all my life and i've been getting a very sore head over the last few years with the quality of players and performances we've been putting in, Its hardly a kneejerk reaction!
  8. exactly, losing to the shaggers makes the defeat even harder to take. its another rebuild in the summer, FFS we've been 'rebuilding' since we won 9 in a row!!!!! the pyramids were built quicker than this side!
  9. too annoyed mate, just turned my phone off after getting about 5 messages of 'condolence'.....arseholes
  10. what a disgrace, to surrender a league title so easily after being so far ahead just totally sickens me. We can't blame the amount of games or anything along those lines, the team can only blame themselves, I can take getting beat in the uefa final, but not this. Smith and the whole side need to sit down after this and take a long hard look at themselves. A whole season has fallen aprt around us in about 6 weeks and that is very very worrying
  11. amazing, brought a wee tear to my eye, what a day it was indeed, we were involved in one of the biggest bouncys i have ever seen in albert sq at one point, what a moment. just wish the team could have gave us that extra wee bit but it wasn't to be. good memories
  12. called up today and cancelled our train down on wednesday, can't be bothered with the hassle of waiting for hours then standing for another 4 hours to manchester, good news is my young brother has decided to offer his driving services, we have booked into digs in blackpool for wednesday night, so we''ll depart glasgow about 4am to head down. question is what are the transport arrangements from blackpool, i take it there will be plenty of supporters buses heading over on wed afternoon? or is the train a better option. well looking forward to this now, see the match in manchester, party for a couple of hours after the match then back to blackpool for another party.
  13. thats what i thought but not what i wanted to hear, surely they'll be putting extra trains on as it'll cause chaos in the station. think we'll get down around 7am then
  14. right, booked on virgin trains the other day to travel down on 14th may a 9.39 am there is around a dozen of us going from the scotstoun loyal. My question is... as i made the booking online it said that it was not possible to reserve any seats on the train, the booking did however go through no problem, would this mean we are booked on the train but have no reserved seat, OR that we have booked a ticket for the train and its first come first served so if the 9.39 train is full then we have to wait and get the next one? or the next! i'm trying to clear this up as my brother is worried that he might not get down as the trains will be mobbed!!
