  1. You should never fear playing anyone and it would be the same with this game. If you asked me who would win I would have to say the bheggars - but you never know. Personally I am in no rush to play them, in the same way I am in no rush to play against any of the SPFL teams. The standard of football we are playing in is obviously not great, but it is a breath of fresh air to be away from that toxic atmosphere.

  2. The other part of me doesn't ever want to see our players without our support ever again or see our club suffer because of our hurt and anger.

Exactly - I think that is what most people have the problem with. In general our fans want to hit back at SPL clubs but also want to support our club/players as much as possible - unfortunately it is hard to do the one without the other. The only point I would make is that the players would know why the fans are boycotting - they are all media savvy these days via facebook, twitter and via forums like RM. Just show the Leeds game in '92 to show the players what can be done without an away support! Ultimately, it's the choice of the individual.
  3. If all our players are fit I do not think he will start - however history tells us we always pick up injuries and therefore he will get plenty of opportunities during the season. In addition, he has played RB, RM, LM and CF so will no doubt play in multiple positions when required. Before you all start - I did not say he was good at all those positions, just that he has played there!!

  4. Not quite.

The match expenses are deducted. Then Livingston get 15%. The remainder is split between Albion Rovers and Rangers. And up to 1,000 tickets can be deducted from the total.

What do you mean 1k deducted from the total - not disputing it, just do not understand why it would be the case? Can you elaborate?
  5. It's all in this thread mate.

    It starts about here...

Just another victim of twittermania :(

Cheers GB. I did read the full thread, but the tweets are not showing on my blackberry, hence my dim questions!

  6. To all those involved tomorrow, have a great time. I have never been a member of any of the loyal institutions, however I always enjoyed watching the main parades every year before I moved overseas and I will do so again when I return to the UK. Regarding the issue of "drunken hangers on", yes there are some, however these idiots account for a very small minority of those that will attend the parades tomorrow in support of the lodges involved. The more people that turn up and behave the less the hangers on have an affect. Hard to choose between Glasgow or Central Scotland for the best parade - Glasgow maybe has the edge as it is in the city centre, however the central runs it very close and I think Coatbridge could be a cracker this year! Loud, proud and stay safe to all.

  7. A bit disappointed to be honest. Home top looks cheap to me, black top looks the best overall and the white top just does not look like a Rangers strip. Hopefully they will grow on me over time. Talking about time - now they have shown everyone what our 3 tops look like they will be forged and sold to death before the official tops go on sale in July, August & September.
