Not if you can dictate that he will play - makes sure he is fully fit for Newcastke next season - it's does not seem to be about improving the squad but about a recovery / shop window!
Well, if that gives him a burning desire to play out of his skin for the next six months then we can only benefit.

He was one of the top talents in the SPL at the time we signed him and as usual we've taken a decent performer and instead of developed him into something even greater we've let him stagnate without ever giving him a proper run of games.
David Templeton and Nicky Clarke are another two who we had on the bench last week that if had been coached properly when they arrived should be first eleven regulars no questions asked.
If we had a front three of Templeton, Clarke Shiels then we wouldn't be so far behind Hearts.

To be honest, nowadays you're probably best putting them in the recovery position and making sure they're alright.

The fact the lad who was arrested for calling the policeman a "Jock cunt" sums it up to be honest. He was banned from all grounds in England and Wales, so no doubt thought he'd jump up to Scotland. Thinking, Old Firm, bound to be trouble. However, I'd be very surprised if a genuine Rangers fan from England came up here and called people "Jock cunts".
Exactly, it doesn't add up.

Yep, I've noticed this kind of thing more often in the last 8 years or so too.
I just get the feeling that they don't have any affinity with the club or Glasgow in general. Of course there are many long established supporters clubs in England, and I'm not referring to any of them, just to be clear on this.

I'm a unionist, I voted No in the referendum, originally from Ulster but have lived in Glasgow guts of 20 years. Quite often cheer for England and have no sense of a rivalry with them as we're all British etc.
However, I find what I've quoted quite significant. It seems that English football hooligans, more visibly than ever, are latching themselves onto our club. Last year on the day we were presented with the league I spoke to Millwall, Chelsea and Hull fans in various pubs in the city centre. The Hull fans, (4 of them) were looking for trouble and as the night wore on they were square going folk for nothing, absolutely nothing. They had told me they had already been in a fight in the Toby Jug and the locals (Rangers fans) bottled it. Last seen one of them deliberately bumping into everyone they walked past on Union Street as I waited for my bus after shutting time.
When you look at any time we've been involved in skirmishes, even Central Station with Hibs casual, when folk are lifted and named in the press a lot turn out to be English.
I quite enjoy the fact we get our support from the four corners of the UK but you have to wonder when you see a quote like that why folk come to our games.

I agree, it's the journeymen who seem to be first pick no matter what who have turned us into mediocre nonentities.

Ally smelt a rat and didn't want to be associated with it. Thankfully when push has come to shove heavy weights have come out of the shadows and made their mark. It seems that several different groups are now coming together to get proper control of the club away from these vulchers.
