  1. I've just taken a call from a company called Redwood who had my details from Rangers. They were wondering if I'd be interested in supporting Murray Park by signing up for a Rangers Lotto. I wasn't sure if this was legit and was making my excuses, she said it was only £1 a week!!

Anyway, I wasn't gonna give my bank details over the phone, she could've been anyone! I assume it's all above board but it did throw me a bit.

Is that how bad things are getting, phoning fans ???

Anyone else have this or shine some light on it?

    Cheers.

  2. Bluenose1972: I can't remember much about the stairs but celebrating a goal was scary there. If you imagine the seat in front of you being up to about your knee, the seats there, the back of the seat in front was half way down your shin. Fucking dangerous! How they got away with it is anyone's guess, unless the planning department at GCC is full of septic fans?!?!?!?

I was in the top tier at the Bernabeu 2002... No joke the back of the seat in front stopped not too far above your ankles. Walking down to my seat from the Exit with a hangover was quite a scary experience...you basically looked down on top of the pitch as if you were hanging over it!!!

  3. May as well put this in here, saves starting a new thread .....

Going on the train myself to the match on Saturday, with ma 2 boys.

My train back up the road is at 6.11pm from QST .... do you think I'll catch it, given the subway queue at Ibrox?

Leaving early with the subway loyal isnt an option (tu)

Seen that before too, think it was Cessnock. Although a fair idea where it is,not 100% though.

    No no no no!!!!! :)

If you're heading into town you should walk down to Govan Station, that way you get on an empty train. If you walk to Cessnock you're getting on a train that's already stopped at Ibrox station...

  4. what year would this photo have been taken? well beyond my time. i've only known ibrox as it is now. well when i was born i don't think we had the big screens installed yet. the stands were all seperate. i've only been in ibrox as it is now. first game was 1998 i think.

How did Edmiston House and the primary school end up that side of the ground?????

    Weird photo!!

  5. am sure if he wasn't Northern Irish he would have been slated from the rooftops as he was a poor player and had very limited ability

Then, we've got the fact that he's Northern Irish which, I'll admit, only effects a minority these days.

Not sure what beef you two clowns have with NI players at Ibrox but you're grossly exaggerating any favour that curries. eg Lafferty.

  6. The Queen is now the queen of England, not the queen of Britain apparently.

Strictly speaking she is the Queen of England, like Charles is The Prince of Wales.

Don't think anyone is saying GSTQ is an England song.

  7. The RAF from Britain shot one down?

The RAF only recruiting in England now?

it's a song sung by England fans "RAF from England..."

For some reason our support have adopted the song and changed the England bit to Britain.

It's a fucking embarrassment anyway, impossible not to look like a complete dick when singing it!!

What next. alternative lyrics to Ging Gang Goolie??

  8. Could someone explain this to me in simple terms?

It seems Bt Sport don't want to show Rangers games next season so SPFL have to pay them to show them??

    or is it

BT: We'll give you 300,000 for the Rangers games but you have to give us 250,000 of it back for broadcasting costs??

I'm a bit lost here, TV companies pay football associations, if they want paid surely SPFL would have told them to fuck off.
