  1. I don't think it's Mad Phil or Andy Muirhead. Scotzine is a pile of shit but it at least has a veneer of professionalism about it. This effort is amateurish in the extreme. I take it back. He's done work for Mad Phil. Might be worth keeping an eye on. It's been registered by this fellow: William Brown 20 Lumloch street Glasgow, G21 4XL GB His big fat ugly bheast face is all over his Google Plus page: https://plus.google....499/about?hl=en Oh, and his CV gives him away a bit: http://williambrowncv.co.uk/ Curiously his Twitter feed does little more than retweet a company called Energise 2.0, a social media consultancy run by confirmed beast Dr Jim Hamill. Something isn't right here. https://twitter.com/WilliamBrown30 PS Is there any way to change your username? This one sort of hampers my participation somewhat.
  2. Probably wasn't the best thought out nick in the world was it? I posted about hijacking Manslaughter Phil's .co.uk domain. Should really change it but cannae edit my profile.
  3. A telecommunications device, but that ain't important right now...
  4. Couldn't agree more about turning to youth. I think we're better placed than Feyenoord to embrace home grown players without risking relegation. I have to wonder what we're playing at, fucking the likes of Jordan Macmillan off to Dunfermline while we're short of a right back, and that wastrel Whittaker sits there pocketing a massive wedge on a weekly basis. We really ought to have the beginnings of a decent team in the likes of Perry, Hutton and Ness. I think we're realistically looking at just over half the team comprising of younger players supplemented by more experienced ones. Need to remember that the likes of Kerkar and Aluko are young and cheap as well, and I'm sure McCulloch would practically play for free if he got to extend his Rangers career. The downside of all of this is that I'll be astounded if we still have McGregor, Davis and Lafferty beyond the summer.
  5. Whether you're joking or not, even suggesting such a thing embarrasses the Club. We don't need to give our enemies any additional ammo at the moment.
  6. I seem to remember the book implied that the inquiry was favourable towards Leitch because he was a friend of the Club. Need to dig it out and reread.
  7. Great pic, and the one of the front cover is good as well. Unfortunately Mr Leitch has to take some of the blame for that first disaster, despite the overcrowding.
  8. He has the smug, snide demeanour of a filthy tim.
  9. I don't see any experts on here, just people using the information they have to express an opinion.
  10. To be honest mate, when it's all done and dusted I'll happily forget every shitty finance factoid I've inadvertently picked up over the last year.
  11. I don't believe they've decided that EBTs are illegal at all. They are fine if used in the correct way. We used them in the wrong way. That's to say we made regular, contracted payments from them. Had we been a bit savvier about it there would be little HMRC could have done.
  12. Trump Tower Govan has a ring to it. But he's an even bigger roaster than CW: http://www.cracked.com/blog/10-stories-about-donald-trump-you-wont-believe-are-true/
  13. A year ago self-same journo scum were telling us CW was a billionaire with wealth off the radar. Think I'll go to sleep for a month.
  14. What's this about? AJ's bluster from earlier or something else? http://www.scotsman.com/news/scottish-news/top-stories/strathclyde_police_examining_information_regarding_rangers_finances_1_2121745? Published on Thursday 16 February 2012 22:51 STRATHCLYDE Police have confirmed that they have been passed information relating to the current situation involving Rangers Football Club. A statement posted on the force’s Facebook page read: “Strathclyde Police can confirm that we have been passed information regarding the ongoing situation at Rangers Football Club. This is currently being examined and it would be inappropriate to comment further.” A spokeswoman for Strathclyde Police said: “It’s too early to say if it is a criminal investigation.” The news comes after former Rangers chairman Alistair Johnston demanded a criminal investigation regarding the club’s finances, which led to the Ibrox side being placed in administration earlier this week due to an unpaid tax bill of £9 million, in PAYE and VAT. He said: “I’m not making allegations against anyone, but it would serve the public interest that certain issues should be investigated.” Mr Johnston was chairman of the club from 2009 until Craig Whyte’s takeover in May of last year. He added that he was particularly interested to find out if there was any evidence of fraud surrounding Mr Whyte’s takeover.
  15. I took nothing from it to be honest. Just professional people trying to be as diplomatic as possible in a very difficult situation. The only thing I thought was noteworthy about it was the way he emphasised that they were there to do a professional job and serve both creditors and Club. I think that was a clear swipe at the likes of Mark fucking Daly and his innuendo on yesterday's news.
