Waghorn is absolutely abysmal right enough.

Wouldn't have been overly surprised if he missed that goal he scored today. Brutal at hitting the target.

It honestly blows my mind how people can't see Waghorn's quality. Yes, he's been missing a lot of chances recently but what do people expect when he doesn't get a decent run in the team, in and out all the time. Miller is worse for it, scores 1 misses another 10. Waghorn's first touch is class, and he's got the ability to dribble past players with ease and get inside. Regardless of misplacing his shooting boots of late, he's still doing a hell of a lot more than the majority in the team bar a few. He actually has the desire to try and fight for the ball when we're playing pish, which is a lot more than can be said for most of the players.

Oh and incidentally, still our top scorer this season by 2 goals. Doesn't matter if they were in the early rounds of the cup, in addition to pullng us out of a whole with that cross to Miller vs Motherwell in the cup game.

People calling him abysmal, woeful, pish shite etc is incredibly boring. He's one of a very select few who are good enough to have played in the team the last time we were in the SPL, he's playing with utter dross, excluding Hyndman there's about 3 players in the entire squad who are good enough to play for Rangers. He can't do it all himself, the team have been wank as of late and he gets absolutely no support half of the time. Although Hyndman has been an improvement since he came in. Imagine as a forward, you were relying on the likes of Andy Hallday and fucking Jason Holt to provide the service.:megaanguish:

He might be frustrating at times when he doesn't take his chances, but to call him pish is just ignorant.

  2. A half decent manager could make him a very valuable asset to us.

Look at the nick of O'Halloran for example, played entirely out of position to the point where he has absolutely zero confidence. He tore us a new one when utilised correctly by St Johnstone. Garner has shown his quality in the past, regardless of what level you're playing at, it doesn't alter the ability to control a ball for example. Both Garner and Waghorn have the ability to be top players for us, I just hope that the next manager is somebody who can see that they need to be deployed correctly.

Warburton had the right ideas but entirely incompetent and out of his depth with the responsibility of managing a club like ours.

Fucking hell!! Really? 0 goals?

He used to be very good at Napoli!

To be fair, it appears that he broke his arm and has only played 10 games. Still pretty pish that he hasn't found the net even once though.

Couldn't agree more, his signings have all been terrible.

I like Foderingham and Waghorn, and I reckon if utilised correctly in a 4-4-2 then Garner could become a very good player for us.

However, that was one of numerous things that perplexed me most about Warburton. Why spend such a large sum of money on a player, and then through his own stubbornness refuse to adapt the system to suit his style? At the end of the day, the man was out of his depth and nowhere near up to the job. Thankfully we can now hire a new manager and move forward.

I'd be delighted with this, tbh.

    I'd take him. :tu:

His first league match in charge was a 2–1 home win against Tottenham Hotspur. Crystal Palace continued in fine form under Pardew with two successive wins, including a 3–2 victory over Southampton to advance into the fifth round of the FA Cup. His first defeat in charge was a 0–1 home loss to Everton on 31 January 2015. Pardew went on to guide Crystal Palace to their best ever Premier League finish of tenth place. The Daily Mirror reported that Pardew was the first manager to take over a Premier League club in the relegation zone and eventually guide them to a top half finish; and that "Pardew has a legitimate claim to keeping two teams up this campaign" with Newcastle "staying up on the final day of the season - surviving really only on their early season form".

The 2015–16 Premier League season started well for Pardew. Wins over teams such as Chelsea, Aston Villa and Liverpool meant there was talk of a UEFA Europa League spot.

Sorry but the idea that he would be sitting in TGI's as this shitstorm goes down is laughable!

Plus he must be stuffed! Was he not in caffe parma with tevernier earlier as well?

Just been spotted with Rob Kiernan in the Brewers Fayre.

Must be on a pub crawl.

The account showed 14m put in and they were released around September time. Go look at them.

Garner and Barton alone are 4million. Then there's O'Halloran, Dodoo, Alnwick, Windass. Then wages on the likes of Kranjcar, Senderos, Rossiter, Hill.

All that before factoring in the new contracts given to Kiernan, Halliday, Tavernier and the likes. It's not difficult to see where the money went.

Warburton wasted a lot of money on a lot of shite. He wasn't good enough and he failed. Simple as that.
