Took a punt on Gonzalez to KO Burns tonight @6/1. The guy can really bang with short shots, that KO of Soto was a really brutal knock out. I can see why Burns is favourite, boxing at range i think he'll be outboxing this guy for sure, but if Jose can close the gap and get in range it's gonna be some real dangerous territory with this guy.

Anything Ferguson has ever done he done for Ferguson, spent millions in fact he's probably one of the main men responsible for turning the football game into the greed ridden/corrupt society it has become. If truth be told he should have won a lot more with the millions he's squandered in his time. He falls woefully short of Bill Struth as an Ambassador for The Beautiful Game !

They are pretty similar in terms of building something. You have to wonder where or what Rangers would b if not for Struth, the success he brought and values instilled. Without Ferguson & the domination he braught would Man United be the global brand on a par with Madrid?
I don't mind SAF having the greatest tag, his achievements are unmatched and you can't really compare him to Struth, or anyone really from pre-70's, the times were just too different to be comparable.

indeed, he's been an FA cup runner up & managed a 4th place finish in 2006.....
I think he's a terrible appointment - they just want a carbon copy of Ferguson to install the kind of stabilty they are used to but this has disaster written all over it. They need a winner, not an robust mediocre guy.

he's had a tough time, no doubt, but judging on how he's done with what he had it was a failure.
He had a squad with experience and resources so far beyond what our division 3 competitors had yet we turned out tragic performance after tragic performance, devoid of character, effort, shape and tactics.
Losing to home to Annan is unforgivable to me, under any kind of circumstances and he should have been sacked or resigned the next day.

indeed, they lose the dundee derby with dundee going down, then next season it's likely Hearts get wound up mid season if they survive the summer.
