  1. City supposedly considering a £51 million bid for Bonucci now. He probably is the best centre half in the world, or at the very least one of the best but £51 million for a 29 year old still seems very excessive to me. Would be a shame to see Juventus' Chiellini - Bonucci - Barzagli back three broken up as well.

America, where Club "rivalries" are manufactured by the league, where there's club appointed singing groups  the less they have to do with football outside the US the better.

Always relevant. America has a lot to answer for.

  3. In Singapore the now, was planning on going to the Sportsman Bar for the final the night but I'm hearing it's not an RSC anymore and doesn't even show any football. Anyone have any idea where or if the Singapore RSC meets for games these days, or if the RSC is even still going?

I'll probably be able to find a regular sports bar showing it somewhere but would rather watch with other bears.

  4. You can get a great player for free or you can get one for £2million. It's all about identifying the right players, figuring out what they'd cost us, both in terms of transfer fee and wages, and making the decision as to whether the quality and value they'd add to the playing squad is worth the outlay required to sign them.

Of course you'll never get every transfer right, so there's a degree of risk in every transfer. If the management believe that the quality a player adds is worth the expenditure required to sign him and the risk involved in doing so then they will do so. This will be the case whether we're signing a player for free or for £2 million.

That's how I see it anyway.

Did he not piss off home after doing pre-season with us then leave before the season started ?

I seem to remember we signed him on deadline day, wouldn't have had a preseason if that was the case

    Absolutely delighted for him

i had an absolute clown behind me slating him from the word go, bambi this and fuckin bambi that!

guy was still not happy when he scored, dickhead

even if you don't fancy a player, you don't shout that shite

    well done young man

:anguish: Hate when fans slate our own players during a game. Got to back the team regardless.

I was a bit worried when he came on but he played very well. Always looked to get on the ball and provided a link between defence and attack after the other midfielders began to tire a bit. Scored a great penalty too.

Na mate coming from MW to DW would end in disaster,we have to stay bk from the rangers men thing. Let's enjoy Mark Warburton while we have him as management is a short stay and he will have ambition to manage down there. We probably will be gutted when he goes but he will lay all the foundations as he goes along for the next man to succeed. Enjoy MW

Davie Weir was Warburton's assistant at Brentford, so MW clearly is a big fan of him. The fact that he is a Rangers man, while obviously a good thing, wouldn't really have that much of a bearing on whether he replaces Warburton.

I've been living in Kenya for the last few months and the appeal the EPL has here is insane and 95+% of the fans support either Arsenal, Chelsea or Man Utd.  Some of the younger kids like City but the dominance that the big teams have is crazy.  Even Liverpool struggle to have any fans out here. Also I have yet to meet one Southampton fan, I assumed that a few would have jumped ship with Wanyama but they really don't care, it's all about the glory.

Also I've been keeping score of the number of our tops I see compared to the mhanks.  We're winning 9-7 :uk:

Been proselytising Rangers while you've been there?
