  1. I have just spent one of the most memorable weeks of my life in Toronto for NARSA. Last year in San Francisco was special but this was even more so. The whole trip was just a buzz from start to finish and I have made so many new bluenose friends. The organisation from the Bramalee RSC from start to finish was superb and as soon as we stepped off the plane there was a bus loaded with ice cool beer waiting to take us to the hotel. There were so many highlights on the trip but for me the booze cruise with the GPB was a bit special and the banquet night with Glass Tiger and Tina Turner was also the business, well she looked like Tina to me and she certainly sang like her. Special mention to my old pal Davy Currie who introduced me to so many great people and got me and my cousin Christine and her husband Alan into the Blue Jays game. Lets go Blue Jays!!!!Davy, thanks for making the trip that wee bit more special,it was really appreciated by the three of us.

I even got invited to a wedding in Redondo Beach for next years convention in LA. Young Robert is getting married to Angie, mind you I think he invited everyone that he met to his wedding on the beach. Robert and his pal Scott were great characters. There was a golfing event which DC didn't win this year and Alan Armours team won the absent friends soccer match.Alan had four assists playing up front and let everyone know about that during the trip but what he didn't mention was that the guy who was marking him was 69 years old. Alan became good friends with a couple of Rangers fans who now live in Chicago,Scott and Martin who were both great guys and full of fun. We also met up with John McTrustie and his partner Karen. John was a founder member of the Brothers in Blue bus from Shawlands and his hospitality was also appreciated. A really nice couple. John drove us all the way down to Niagara Falls and then took us to Lake Niagara where we had our lunch in the Niagara Lake golf club.

I didn't get to meet Chris Graham or KP FishTank when I was there but I think KPFT may have been playing a running gag with me.See you next year D? Special mention to my two room mates Stevie and Ronnie who were as good as gold and both could snore as loud as me.

I really would recommend NARSA to anyone who is thinking about going. Expectations are that Redondo Beach is going to top everything next year. The camaraderie between the fans is what makes NARSA so special and you know what? We really are the people..!!!

Sounds great . Who paid for your trip ?

  2. Obviously a season ticket gets you into every home league match of the season but what are some other benefits of holding a season ticket? Sorry if it sounds like a daft question to you but I'm only asking because I bought my first season ticket today! so i'm new to how it all works.

for example, do we get priority to home non league games? or does the club go to season ticket holders when they want to find something out (surveys/feedback etc). I read that the club intendeds to set up a fan membership or something in time for the new season that all st holders will be apart of, if i understood it correctly. is there anything else?

oh and a bonus question: how long have you held your season ticket for?

    You're welcome .

    Fuckin ages

    thanks.

  3. There's a lot of people unhappy about the signing of miller today... But I really don't get why. People keep saying it's short sited and maybe it is... But maybe it's not...

What if signing miller on a one year deal was done because McCoist knew funds were limited and he knows that next year or the year after he can buy a better striker when we have improved financially. Signing miller on a low wage is still a huge improvement on what we had last year.

Some don't rate miller as a player. Well none of you were saying that when he left us last time after scoring 21 goals in 18 games...

Also in terms of kenny millers career... His best performances have come for Scotland.. When smith and McCoist were in charge and rangers... When smith and McCoist were in charge... Why would McCoist not want him? Especially given the level of performance miller has shown during those spells.

People moaning about our style with daly last year... Well miller is the complete opposite, ball on the deck, works hard, can score goals.

Nobody wanted him back last time but by the end we were all hoping he would stay. He was a total success. Has he lost some of his pace, sure, but he's still scored some cracking goals and most importantly he's proved us wrong before... Who's to say he can't do it again.

For or against it matters not now, let's hope he makes us all eat our words and justifies ally signing him

  4. Not had a ST in 6 years. Aint flush for cash and work most weekends.

Got kids that have their various wee clubs on saturdays.

But with all the UofF pish, I know I NEED to get one this season. Maybe get the kids ST too.

    Fight fire with fire.

Anyone else eagerly awaiting the public sale?

    Who else is committing?

    Aye I'm in again GW

  5. Rumour's been floating around all day:

Kris Boyd has agreed to sign a 2 year deal with Rangers F.C, 7k p/w with that set to increase when we return to the premier league.

Might be waiting for a few years with the 3 amigos at the management helm

  6. Personally, I'd have no problem with it, but fear that playing for our Club would make him an open target for those hypocrites who like to misrepresent the famine song and wrongly assume a moral high ground whilst racially abusing our black players.

I think most of us would back such a player yet share these concerns.

Nonetheless, society has moved on and football has to grow up too.

If he can get rid of ally I'll give him a hauny myself
