I'm prompted to post this after seeing the incredible ammount of negativity posted in a recent thread.

From some of the replies you'd think it was almost a criminal offence we have done this.
Scroll back 20 months, our team was in the process of being systematically destroyed by the SFA, authorities, tax threats, potential liquidation, the media, and assorted charlatans who took a vested interest in us.
Look at us now, halfway in on our comeback, going reasonably to plan, unbeaten in the league progressing well, a loyal and trusted manager, still some doubts maybe on the board but we are still kicking along.
So why are there fans on this forum, who appear to be looking for the downsides all the time instead of at least partially enjoying, and more importantly, being proud of, our achievement so far ?
Constant sniping at the manager especially, the team, the tactics, on and on.......what does that gain ?
Are they just wee boys with keyboards attention seeking ? Are they disillusioned older fans perhaps upset we are not still constantly winning top trophies. Are some spoiled by constant success over the years ?
Regardless of the reasons for their negativity, perhaps some posters should be showing more pride in our achievements and our continual success in Scottish football.
After all there are many others who will try and put us down, especially in our present position, why should good Gers fans do the same ?
I am proud of my football team as I always will be , but have no pride in the way an over resourced team struggles and plays turgid football against part time teams .

If my wee boys there.. 85/90. The football is utter shite so If hes not it's a struggle to get to half time without going to the wee club.
Same . Tend to leave 5 minutes early . I go to all the games these days with the wee guy and waiting til the final whistle adds 20 minutes on to our journey and we need to get home to the rest of the family .

The Club needs our Help again
It is despressing going to Ibrox with so many Empty seats, and even though were nowhere as near bad as the Manky mob, the club must be losing a fortune just now, as the crowds are down and hence less spending money at the stadium.
Graham Wallace and Rangers wont come out and ask this, as it would be seen taking aloan of us as usual, BUT we all know ourselves, instead of no going to the game, give your mates your season ticket and let them buy a pie etc....

The Football is pish, its boring, worst football in the world, but I tell you what its all worth it when your sitting beside your mates and fellow bears on a Saturday. I love buying my boy a wee treat in the Rangers shop before the game, get urselves back to Ibrox and spend a couple quid again if your able to do so.

we have gone through all the money raised from the share issue, all this seasons , season ticket sales, where has all the money gone. At the rate we have been spending 1.5m is 1 months running costs.
If you renew your season ticket and Admin2 comes upon us, do you lose your money ???

After watching a lot of these games I have more respect for a lot of these teams and their management than I have for my own team and I say that without any bitterness . Never felt that in spl games and we are spending like a labour government

Let's just imagine that it was Celtic who had our problems in 2012 and got busted down to D3. Their manager, Lennon, stayed with them. hey got promotion but played clueless and unattractive football and had a wage bill so high that it was playing havoc with the club's finances. The following season they continued in the same vein, having signed more dross and added to the wage bill with players with no resale value at all.Let's say the manager ws shamed into cutting his astronomical salary to a level that was still far too much for the league in which his team were playing How would the Ally supporters react to this? would they say that Lennon was doing a great job and needed to be given as much time as he needs. Or would they be pissing themselves laughing and hoping that Celtic kept hold of him because as long as he was around there would be nothing to fear.

A lot of people think he will struggle in the championship, surely it would be better to wait and see if these future tellers are correct before we get rid of a manager that is winning almost EVERY game, and most of them by two or three goals.
We have went backwards in recent weeks, I am not denying that for a second The further ahead we go in the league, the worse our performances seem to get, this happened last year towards the end of the season too.
If as people think, he struggles in the championship, then we will know he is not cut out for it, and can move him on and bring in someone new.
If he ( as i believe)destroys the championship, like he has destroyed the 4th and 3rd tiers, then he deserves more time and a season at the top.
Understand the loyalty and believe ally is our man on the inside at the club through these uncertain and volatile times but he has not destroyed the 4th and 3rd tiers . This is the only time in the last 20 years (with exception of le guen era ) that teams actually believe they can take us on And try and impose their will on us -even at ibrox they are game on , and against part time opposition that is not acceptable
