  1. From start of next season wish the club would start housing the away support in West Enclosure and anyone with ST there at present get choice of seat for the Broomloan or any other in east Enclosure.

Reason being .When we get back to the top league the away support for say beggars match can be reduced dramatically and we would have the whole Broomloan stand.

Im certain there would be so many more benefits to this ,reduced stewarding possibly ,more bears getting better seats etc etc..

  2. Can't recall to many decisions like this that ever went against the unwashed and then got the referee a demotion .He was a beggar I'm told but not the worst ref we ever had so I wish him well in his pursuit of those chunts at the Sfa .Would be nice if the prick thats on the beggars payroll Vincent Lunny gets a mention or two

  3. Rough as fuck this morning. I see I was that pished last night I even voted no myself. I'm not going to even bother changing it.

I've read all the posts on this thread and I don't feel strongly either way now. I read a few abusive posts about Kevin Kyle last night and had the desire for a neg rep button thus the poll.

Strangely the majority of posts don't reflect the poll for some reason. Possibly some people voted yes because they wanted to neg rep the shit out of this thread?

At least your big enough to admit when you've posted tosh (tu)
  4. About right. Quite a shocking attendance tbh.

Are you serious??? 34,441 your at the wind up .In anyones book and that includes a club playing in Scotland's 3rd Division and with the formality of the league being over, this is a fantastic attendance no matter what way you slice it.

Think your giving a few others a run for the title of being Rangers medias best troll

  5. You would rather gang up on and accuse new members of being something they are not? What is right about those who are spoiling the forum trolling bile and then running away leaving lies and accusations in threads for others to follow up on, like you have here? Gogzy knows i am not a tim, the matter is now with admin so i will leave it there. Thanks.

If you think Im ganging up on you ,your just way too sensitive .

  6. I can't agree with that even the club deck was pretty full

yeah I noticed that too but I think there was around 39 to 41.000 there .No way was it nearly full ..I honestly think we are making too much of these crowd stats .In this climate and with league almost a formality then any crowd over 30,000 is amazing .Fact that we get crowds well above this says it all about our great supporters
  7. Yesterday showed just how far Rangers have fallen, and I don't mean only in divisions.

Totally outplayed by a plucky part time outfit from Annan.

No player , in my opinion deserved pass marks.

No leadership on the park, no captain kicking ass, no ability to change things when they went wrong.

Charles Green stated that this is the poorest Rangers team ever, Ally was insulted, most fans however will agree with Charles.

The attendances have held up well, but if the team don't entertain, the fans will not find the motivation to trek to Ibrox on a freezing cold day like yesterday.

As a fan since 1965, and a season ticket holder since 1973, I remember the days of 12,000 fans ,and that was to watch far superior players than we see today, and we had John Greig, a man who would not tolerate the players hiding like they did yesterday.

When asked we bought season tickets, when needed we donated to the fighting fund, when required we bought shares, and the return from the second highest paid squad in Scotland has been appalling.

I read many fans insisting " they are enjoying the journey" well I am NOT, I am hating every minute, I have supported in every way possible and I feel my loyalty is being tested like never before.

Why did I title my post as could be worse?

Well, a few months ago we were facing oblivion, had a massive tax case against us, and were looking like being stripped of titles, none of these have come to fruition. So it really could have been worse. However if we are to keep our attendances up, we really need to find players who are up for the fight, and knowing it will be September before we can change things, we should be happy that at least we have won the league. Is Ally the man for the job? His signings tell us probably not, but I am prepared to let him have one more season , when he can bring in new players before advocating showing him the door. His loyalty deserves this, but we MUST be entertained, or people like me will probably buy a ticket, but would find the golf course a more attractive way to spend a Saturday.

Excellent post mate and one I agree with except for last wee part .Im in the not sure about Ally taking us forward lately but there's no doubting he deserves our respect .I also remember things pre Souness and the team 85 .Dont think our expectations were so high back then and it was a totally different time to be a football supporter .Nowadays I think our expectations grow very quickly and this will multiply the pressure on any Manager .Ask me in a week I may have softened towards Ally but yesterday was the worst this season .It seems you have been loyal throughout the years and I think we both know once a Ranger always a Ranger so I don't think you have to question that any more .Being a supporter means we go through the bad times to appreciate the good .Whatever happens every bluenose should remember where we were in the Summer and continue to follow follow ..It's what we all love
  8. It's been 6 months since the "upgrade". Where is our neg rep button? Whilst not a programmer, I'm sure for someone who knows what they are doing it should be a simple mod to the code. PLEASE ADMIN?

Edit- making this a serious poll.

causes division and bitching .Fuck the negative rep button .What an arse
  9. Off the field we are in a good place at the moment.

On the field we are a shambles, the entertainment value is nil an part timers are showing us up.

What we need to do now is remember the words of Bill Struth and to react to the situation with dignity

Charles Green and Ally need to lock themselves in an office and sort this shit out for the good of the club.

Ally is in danger of losing his legend status and no one would criticise or blame him if he chose to take a job 'upstairs'

It's times like this that write the history of our club and we must be seen to act with dignity when under pressure.

Washing our dirty linen in public only helps our enemies

In a minute we are going to be asked to renew season tickets and this will be a big ask with the product on the field at the moment.

Sort it out Ally and Charles - do what's best for the club

Your on a roll last few days Swally .Another good post
  10. Another thing that I've noticed .When he was a Jambo he did seem to play up to Hearts fans in a popular way .I can't really ever remember him ingratiating himself to ours ,Infact in the 1st Clyde game away he was quite the opposite .I don't have anything personal against him but I want our central midfield to be more influential than Black and Hutton were today by a Country mile .If Black wants to have a future at our club I would suggest he works a little harder to get fans onside but I've a feeling this wouldn't be on his mind ever

  11. Ally has had 4 transfer windows.2 of them we under CW and we all know how that went, Ally got his second picks if he was lucky.

1 transfer window Was last summer where Ally had 28 days to replace his entire first team (except for Jig and Wallace), and he had to convince players to come play in the third division.

1 transfer window he wasn't allowed to bring in ANY players because of an illegal transfer embargo.

It's nowhere near as black and white as you and others would make out. Sure Ally has signed some duds, show me a manager that hasn't.

Very good post Gogsy .All stuff conveniently forgotten after a day like today
  12. Its my opinion mate.

Berwick were a decent 2nd div side in '67.

Today we were against a team who, I think, hadn't won in ten games and were a point away from being the worst team in Britain. We were at home against them in front of 40,000 fans and if truth be told they played us off the park at times.

If an outsider who didnt know the league positions was at the game today they could be forgiven for thinking we were the bottom team. It was a diabolical performance and embarrassing.

Annan have caused us problems in every game so far, yet get trounced by other teams. Its down to tactics and the way we set up.

Your opinions are good with me Jack and I wouldn't disagree with what you just said in that last post .It was embarrassing theres no doubts about that .
  13. Fans will vote with there feet we have learnt nowt all season we might be ahead in the league, but week after week we are struggling against part timers.....last season we were miles ahead of the tarriers we managed to fukk it up after we lost one player and we got pumped out every cup competition..., this season almost mirrors it different players same clueless manager and coaches.

Its very hard to argue against most of this
  14. Don't like slating a player after a defeat but he is just way to much trouble than it's worth having now .He runs about plenty but for me brings nothing to the team .Along with Sandaza these two would be shifted as a matter of priority .

  15. Seen numerous people saying "Fuck off Ally". Enough to sicken me.

I'm with you 100% on this one mate .Real supporters behave differently towards a legend and a guy that deserves at the very least respect ...Having said that tonight I find it very hard to defend the total pash that we are witnessing on the park .We can argue all day and night about rights and wrongs but he is going to have to develop a ruthless streak with media and the squad or he is going to run out of time sadly
  16. Having been at both games, I'll take my opinion ahead of someone who was at neither.

Jack mate .We see eye to eye on most stuff and I don't doubt 67 Berwick was a disgraceful result back then .Hurting as we both are tonight I can't say today was as bad as that .If we go on the basis we are a very poor side ,with way we have been playing then results like Stirling away and today were always going to happen .67 match was history changing as 2 players one of them being a legend never played again .This resulted in us being short up front for Euro cup final that season and maybe cost us league too .Sorry bud but this side are very capable of humiliating us much more .Sadly while we are in Division 3 results like today probably won't change history not unless our Manager goes
  17. I'd rather Derek Adams.

He took Ross County to the cup final while in the first division - romped the first division last season. Currently battling for 2nd place in the SPL on thier first season in the SPL - only losing 2 at home. They've put together huge unbeaten runs stretching months at a time over the last 2 season.

His record with those resources available at a tiny club like Ross County is remarkable.

He's young, only 37, and would fit perfectly into a long term rebuild - if we don't swoop for him now, a Championship club will get him.

sorry mate .Adams will end up at Pittodrie .Thats were his heart lies
