  1. Ironic you missed the intent of my post, we NEED financial clarity and only then will we know where the money has went. And what has dictators got to do with this? David Murray skedaddled some time ago

I actually don't believe we'll get clarity on finances through the yearly accounts as I doubt it'll be detailed enough to show who has spent what

Chemical Ali, interesting choice given he too worked for a regime that didn't tolerate people asking questions and ran by a dictator.

  2. We've enough information, somehow the club has spunked how many million, 30-40? And yet the financial director "didn't know how much"

We've been embarrassed by directors of the club acting in disgusting ways not befitting of an employee of Rangers i.e. Ahmad posting on forums trying to influence, Green using the p*** term, being investigated for links to Whyte, telling us constant lies etc etc

We have people who are true Rangers legends warning us to beware of who's in the boardroom

    The Easedales? undesireables

How much more information do we need?

If we keep our heads in the sand it'll end up like Shytes short disastrous reign again

Here is a novel idea, an idea that Sandy Jardine has even voiced.

Boardroom battles have been going on for decades, leave them to it.

Support the team and let them get on with it.

Do we really have enough factual information at our disposal to make a decision of pick sides ? I think not !

Even if we did all all the info , would we even understand the inner workings of a football boardroom ?

  3. I said I was off to bed but that's a good post.

What is both sides? For me it's just Rangers, everything else is just personal

I've said it on FF before that ideally the RST should rebrand to rid themselves of any preconceptions, however why does it actually need to rebrand? It'd still have to be a legally recognised entity, one already exists. Does it just need to change it's name or is it the people who are in charge?

I'm not legally educated but I'd presume there'd be some difficulties forming a new entity, the real issue seems to be preconceptions about who are the "groups" and who dislikes who...

We need to get over that, majority voting would cure that

    Debate is healthy.

If we are to move forward comprimises on both sides need to be made.

Ideally a new-politically free body would be set up as a vehicle to get our say into the running of our Rangers.

  4. Not taking sides?

Charles Green is a fine upstanding man who only wants the best for Rangers, is that what you really believe?

If you believe that, my argument is lost on the likes of you. Our corporate structure is a car crash

There's been 2 or 3 decent replies on this thread, the rest seem agenda driven, selectively quoting what they want to read.

Anyway, goodnight, I thought it was worth a try but obviously not :(

Nice example of not taking sides.

  5. We're obviously on the same wavelength bud

It really upsets me we've been through the ringer the last few years and done f all about it. I've heard many of our support say that supporter ownership is just a dream and will never happen, I'm thinking the same thing too. The majority shareholders certainly don't want it and the support is incapable of it

What we need is a really rich owner who can do whatever the fuck he wants so the masses can be appeased and not have to worry.

No matter if they're running the club into the ground i.e. David Murray

I thought I'd try and reach out but it looks like it's not worth it

Couldn't agree more pal, and although I agree with your view ie: if you don't like it become a member and change it, there are to many agendas among so called supporters who would rather have thier names in the limelight than work for the betterment of our club, for christ sake I even seen it in the form of local RSC's, it was one of the reasons that I was quite happy many years ago to quit my local RSC and go to the games with a handfull of mates instead.

Sad to say it seems that what little fan unity we did have seems to have gotten worse in the last couple of decades, esp with the upsurge of the PC brigade and more recently the instability of the club itself

To many no marks who need to have their ego's massaged.

  6. No you're incapable of reading, quote me where I said that?

I pointed out there was personal abuse of a fellow Rangers supporter as an example of the fractious nature of our internet support, I didn't mention any points raised they were discussing, just highlighting the abuse. You're selectively reading what you want to read

This thread is a perfect example why there's no unity. Chris Graham's a cunt, the RST are cunt's etc etc

Rangers are all that matter and from what I see on this thread, RM thinks the opposite

So you want Unity as long as we all agree with Chris Graham and disagree with ED? Your call for unity lasted about 6 lines!!!

  7. Ok, quote me where I've contradicted myself?

    I don't care about "groups"

Op, You say that you dont take sides then go on to contradict that.

IMO it is the various bodies that each profess to be the voice of the supporters that has splintered the support.

That said, I feel this period in our clubs history will be known as the catalyst for the re-birth of the Rangers Supporter. A support that will grow stronger year on year.

  8. Why, why, why?????

It astounds me, it really does. I have no affinity with the RST, like I said it's an officially recognised entity. If you want to change it, do it from within or start something new?

Posts like yours sound like they have an agenda, all the while fuck all happens and we watch scumbags like Green etc running our club into the ground making us an embarrassment

As I said in the OP, I don't think we're capable of unity, unfortunately we will get what we deserve

As for the RST they are a busted flush who will never be trusted by many fans. Some form of fan ownership may be in Rangers future but not under the umbrella of the RST.

  9. Sorry bud, that's fekkin depressing :(

What I can never understand is we all have one thing in common, we want Rangers to be the best it can be. How we do it, well we'll all have different opinions on but the thing that binds us together is Rangers.

It's why I think one opinion = 1 vote, the majority rule.

With a fractured support who're willing to dismiss the RST because of some rumours or history that others purvey is just defeatist. If there were 40k RST members (or whatever new entity we'd want to call it) we'd all have a say

Your howling at the moon here pal, The Rangers support has always been fractured, what would you expect with such a large fan base, it's only natural.

As for a corporate war going on, again, it's been going on since I started following The Rangers [52yrs now].

The only thing that's changed is the use of the internet, more information or disinformation gives those with an agenda the oppertunity to poison minds of some supporters who are unable to think for themselves and are easily led down the garden path.

And as for a forum that bars posters for having the temerity to disagree with what they want you to believe, well honestly what is the point of that, unless it's for propaganda purposes.

  10. What do you mean by the RST disappearing? if you mean the people who're currently chairing the board (or whatever they are), I couldn't care less.

The trust itself is a legally recognised entity, who "runs" it is of no importance. It's the members who are important

As I said in the OP, I suspected I'd be "attacked" for mentioning the RST, logically it's the correct vehicle for a voice in the running of our club

    edit:

Or do you only want unity if it is your view people unify behind?

If the RST had 20k and more members then we'd feel we were being appropriately represented if we had a vote. Similar to any political vote, a recognised, legally binding vote. (I'm a lapsed RST member because I've thought it's useless due to the number of members, just in case you think I'm a sleeper)

What if unity for the support involved the RST disappearing? Or do you only want unity if it is your view people unify behind?

  11. I thought about not mentioning that thread, I wish I hadn't now as obviously that's what you've focussed on. However on FF members who openly abuse others are banned, I don't think that's wrong. That's not important, like I say just an example

I have no politics, I don't care about politics but it cannot be denied the Rangers internet supporting community suffer from politics. That's what I'm highlighting

The only thing I care about is Rangers. I hope I'm wrong but I feel unity is beyond us, meaning we're stuck with the various spivs, crooks and liars who've "owned" us for near on 20 years

Look take yer politics elsewhere I really can't be fucked with this shite and I doubt many others can either

  12. I don't post often on this forum, I'm sure I'll be attacked for saying this but I'm a member on FF, it's a personal choice; as an IT person I don't like to be on more forums than I need to.

However I'm trying to reach out to you and any other "internet communities" like VB who seem intent on infighting rather that using the ultimate power the size and passion of our support could wield if differences were addressed in an adult like fashion.

I'll digress because it's an example where I'm coming from. Because RM is public I only view anonymously, what I witnessed last night on the "Agree or disagree with Bill McMurdo your choice" thread was disgusting.

"Edmiston Drive" with his/her 30 odd thousand posts and others attacking Chris Graham utterly appalled me. I'm not sure if "Edmiston Drive"'s name is publicly known but he's choosing to childishly attack someone who is a fellow Rangers supporter , one who's trying to address the media bias Rangers constantly face; I wonder if "Edmiston Drive" would stand up to that scrutinisation especially from his own supporters. I despise how our support (probably in the main limited to the internet) is so fractured.

My point is, I'm a fairly level headed person, I won't take any sides unless I know the truths, however there's been numerous occasions where these "internet groups" spread slander about each other. It's depressing knowing if there was some semblance of unity we'd be significantly stronger in determining our clubs future.

Now I'll mention the RST and I'm sure I'll be attacked for this too. I've seen the arguments and mud slinging regarding certain groups however my opinion is this: The RST is an officially registered trust backed by the "industrial and provident society". It's the only vehicle that makes sense for a voice in the running of our club.

If you don't like or don't agree with people currently involved with the RST, challenge them through the official means. Use whatever support you have to achieve the required votes.

Don't bitch on the sidelines, causing more fracture and division within the support as it only prolongs the lack of influence the support has.

It's our own fault we are where we are today, there wouldn't be a Rangers without the support however the abomination that currently is Rangers is not what I grew up with.

There's a corporate war happening at our club and if we can't show unity then we deserve all we get

  13. I agree mate, it's unreal what's happening right now.

This is even before the "double contracts investigation" but every cause has been Whyte.

Bringing the game into disrepute, it'd be ironic if it wasn't so fucking galling. David Murray (not sir) and Lloyds bank not even mentioned and Ticketus?

Whyte's paid nothing, increased our debt by what now? Not paid taxes and been "not fit for purpose" long before he was owner.

    Stitch up from day one

There is now an allegiation of conspiracy between Whyte and Collier Bristow which is illegal,Rangers are by far the biggest victim of this fraud, why the hell are we being punished we should be getting help.

It is like charging a bank for getting robbed

  14. If we had a board of directors right now and none as useless as cunts like Martin Bain, legal proceedings would be forthcoming and the resignation of wankers like Regan et al enforced

They are kicking us when we are down, it'll be proved in the long run, whether that's in court or through the latent resignations which will follow.

    A disgustingly corrupt organisation

  15. Of course he shouldn't be threatened but he should be made to know he is not a Rangers supporter and not welcome.

I just found out that he was the secretary of the RST and made the claims of financial irregularities.

It's obvious he is a crackpot and an enemy within.

the posters pretty open about who he is on gersnet is he not?.

I knew who he was so it can't be a secret.

regardless no matter how big a prick he's being he sholdnt be threatened.

  16. I've just found that out who this guy was and what his background is...

He's no Rangers fan and every real Rangers supporter must remember his name.

We have enemies within and they are vicious. He's apparently chairman of supporters direct?

    He is scum

So, does he have a manager and is he capable of doing his job effectively with his other commitments.

    Does anyone here know him?

Remember his name Allan Harris - Rangers supporter

another gilted rst member out to sabotage at any cost mate.
