You know what's great about today, it shows that the majority of support are starting to wise up, those who shout a lot of shite on here are starting to appear as the minority
-
I agree with that, the protest is more about us demanding transparency.. I don't trust any member on that board right now and they've all been connected in some way to Whyte, Green and Ahmad.
I also doubt the accounts will really tell us anything, we know the money has gone, who to, why and to who's benefit is what needs clarity.
If we don't demand this and the club goes tits up again it'll be OUR own fault this time
I've only seen two embarrassing things today: this thread & McMuddo's ridiculous blog.
-
I think we all know that Ally probably doesn't have it as a manager but every time there's a performance like this, supporters are calling for his head.
It's just a bit ludicrous to think a manager would be sacked after winning a game
-
Does your paranoia never worry you?
For everyone else it's just boring
The gang of three have an agenda to denigrate and destabilise the board ergo the club, as do their cheerleading journos and rhags, each and every one found to have openly lied bloggers hacks and rhags should be sine died, we don't need them they most certainly need us.

Much appreciated for the hard work D'Art

I'm just listening to this now, didn't hear it on the way home as we're staunch and we don't switch on bbc scotland
He makes valid points, personally I'm 50/50 on Murray & don't take the p.o.v. on here he's a FF/RST man. I didn't like his comments re DM but he's probably right, how many supporters were complaining 10 years ago about DM?
I've been concerned about PM's history on the previous board but almost everything he said in that phone interview was more credible and IMO, heartfelt than anything that's been said by our current board. Maybe he just a good liar, however he did say he'd be happy to walk away if the support didn't want him.
What I thought the most important point he made was in regards to Jack Irvine.
No Rangers supporter can deny Jack Irvine is utter poison, anyone connected to Irvine must be driven out
-
I don't know this Waltersboy but my own opinion is he's a bit of an attention seeker.
IIRC (though I could be wrong) he's said several times he's a mate of Bomber, was very loud about it at the time last year when Bomber was making his "show us the deeds" speech
About CF, I personally believe it's nothing to do with the RTC blogger and someone being fed info from our club or who was once closely linked with our club
Which bit is bullshit?
Waltersboy is close to the McColl camp, and McColl uses him to convey messages to the support via FF - that is true.
Waltersboy's post seems to say that the leak to Charlottefakes is an example of the stuff McColl will be leaking.
Where's the bullshit?

I agree, the problem being having to have seen both of them you'd need to be really old like you, or in my case just old so more likely to vote Cooper
I'm not sure videos ever show the real class of players, it's only been since the sky era are these videos any real use
I think this is the problem with this poll. The people who never seen Baxter play will vote for Cooper,
-
I don't think he's arrogant, he's basically an average IQ supporter who made it onto the airwaves. Apparently he graduated in "law", all I can say is thank fuck he found another job
The problem is BBC Scotland is filled with these people, hating Rangers and being biased is the norm.
I'll be more than happy when he receives his jotters
This.
The fact that he feels he can say whatever he likes, regardless that the BBC Trust was involved the last time they thought they could spew forth any old shite that would attract an audience, and it'll be swept under the carpet just shows the arrogance of the man.

Sorry I've just seen this...
There's obviously larger percentage shareholders who are concerned otherwise the requisition notice wouldn't have been put forward, especially with McColl and PM holding no shares.
I don't agree with your assertion there isn't based on "judging by their behaviour". The opposite could be said especially with the board releasing a statement yesterday that wasn't entirely true.
Like all our support, we don't know what "the rebels" plans are which I'm annoyed about too. Another P.O.V is that they don't actually need to publicise their plans to the support as they aren't the "group" who's under fire. I agree they should though in the same way the current board needs to justify itself, however the current board is being judged on their current stewardship and that's why, IMO, Blin should be in before the AGM
About the cheeky reply it seems it's the norm in here but I do find it hard to understand anyone after what we've been through who doesn't question the board. Since after the IPO the board of directors have been farcical and not what I'd ever expect from our club
Do we know it's major shareholders as no info has been given.......plus they do not have enough of these major shareholders judging by their behaviour.
After the inital rather cheeky first reply you have been open in your replies and thank you for that but(yip) can you tell me wht plans the rebels(yeah I coined that word for them as they're acting like them) have for the club.............surely they should have announced in an open letter to shareholders and fans alike to let us know............now being rather silly here............but they could want to mortgage/sell of the assets I certainly don't know if they do or don't.

I honestly thought one good thing to come out of the last 10 years is every Rangers supporter would be suspicious of the board.
"so when blin comes in and brings in his team who will need paying, shall he leave afterwards"
Directors come and go, Blin is what's needed right now and he'd have to get board approval to appoint any others. I don't see the need for PM or McLelland but they won't be paid much. Remember that Blin would be up for re-election too if the 4 new board members are added before the AGM
Since the IPO our board of directors have been a complete disgrace and it needs sorting, major shareholders obviously feel the same way
I feel sorry for you, I was brought up to give people the benefit of the doubt until such times they prove that my loyalty is not warranted.............re blin we don't need him others are just as competent as him and can be called in if required..........so when blin comes in and brings in his team who will need paying, shall he leave afterwards , I mean he's a one trick pony as in forensic look into the company.
So based on my years of being in business can't fathom out any good after he roots through all these liars and cheats that you seem to think the board are..........what then for Blin when that's concluded?
-
Waiting for the accounts to be released is a misnomer, yearly accounts aren't forensic
I mistrust everyone on the current board including the finance director, someone like Blin is more than qualified to do the necessary work. Brian Stockbridge? He won't be here after the AGM
The reason I shouldn't answer to you is you appear to lack impartiality. We should mistrust everyone at board level right now and thankfully the majority of our support think like that too
have you read my posts as to why i support them nd what my stance is if the accounts show they have lied.
The reason you should answer it's a forum you made a statement that you back blin all the way.......so a realistic question is what I replied with............I believe that's how forum works.
Can accept your mate thinks the world of him re his position as the firm, but that dies not make Blin a businessman.
-
I knew nothing about Blin but a close friend of mines worked for PWC and he holds him in high regard.
Why do I need to explain to you anyway? You blindly support the current board no matter what
Please explain as to the dealings you have had with Blin to be so certain regards him.
BTW Rfc52 has been deep sea fishing today.
-
I could be wrong but it seems to me the current board are scared, bringing in the new board members for the period until the AGM gives them time to do diligence before re-election.
The way I see it the current board panicked when offering a place for mini, Blin, and co and they did it hoping to appease them and to keep their jobs but McColls men emboldened by this and thinking they have the board on the run are now wanting to take full control by having the shareholders vote the current board off therefore completing the hostile takeover by the ''Real Rangers Men'' and they don't have to pay even the token quid shyte gave Major Murray for us. Whether this is good or bad for us remains to be seen but its a coup and a half from the RRM
-
Good to see there's posters on here with high post counts who are actually level headed...
Am not so sure about McLelland coming back though and I'm 50/50 on Paul Murray, Blin is definitely what's needed
Who said anything about robbing?
Murray and McColl have the institutional investors onside and are going to oust the current shambles. We will return to greatness under blin and co's stewardship.
We deserve that. The fans who are shareholders will be voting and it will be ta ta old board and welcome back to Mclleland and co.
-
Change is inevitable
Sorry but no, still the same shit the rebels are spouting............no change I'm afraid
-
Why the fluck has this descended into a fans group thing again? I thought this wasn't allowed on here..
Is Jack Irvine toxic to the interests of the Rangers support? Yes
Will he still be employed next week? Yes
Will our support do anything about it? No
-
Very true, it doesn't change the outcome but it is off topic
I do wonder why we aren't questioning toxic Jack's role more, why the fuck is he still receiving money from us and for what purpose?
He's unanimously disliked by the support and from this tonight he's surely burnt any semblance of support from us.
He's your typical sun reporter although a PR man now; if he was still a reporter I'm sure he would have been up in front of the Leveson enquiry
I expect you will be picked up on the fact that 'oldco' has yet to be liquidated and its still some way off.
-
I like the way Nicky uses twitter, with maturity, some of our younger players could learn from him
-
Liquidation was in reference to last year when the company was liquidated.
I'm merely pointing out after the last few (10?) years we should be more proactive and not blindly trust those who are the company owners.
Back to the OP, toxic Jack is one topic we can all agree on, the next question is why is he still being paid with our money, who is paying him and for what reason?
When are we getting liquidated?
Before the AGM?
Is that what the rush is?
-
You know you're hitting the spot when another cliche is used.
I trust no one in our board of directors, history tends to influence me however some never learn from their mistakes
Ahhhhhhh good - a new lackie arrives to tell us what the rush is
-
It's like waiting till we were liquidated to confirm that Whyte was indeed a horrible cunt. Deja vu?
You canny complain mate
The accounts urnae out yet...
-
WTF, that's fkin outrageous
If anyone was in doubt re Irvine or the people who are employing him I'd hope they start to see sense
-
I didn't see that either, are you talking about Joe Lewis/ENIC?
If so, ENIC bought shares with the sole intention of making a profit and sold up early, making a loss, as he knew it wouldn't happen
The clubs history is your friend, it was covered extensively yesterday and the myth of King was laid to rest.
Well a lot of our support just embarrassed and disgraced themselves

That's what an AGM is for, the shareholders decide
This "waiting for the accounts" thing is nonsense, the money is gone and I doubt we'll find out where to unless we start asking questions.
