  1. Come the 4th July, these chairmen will vote Yes in the end as they're only releasing these statements to get season ticket sales up as they're desperate for cash already and this is just the start. The diddy fans are going to be absolutely raging. The fiasco afterwards when fans try to work out who actually voted when 7 or so of them said they did will be hilarious. edit - thought first post had timed out, sorry.
  2. Who cares. Let these diddies say 'No' just now as we all know that on the 4th July they'll only get 4 votes at the very most. These clubs are just desperate to get season ticket sales up as they know they're screwed without us. This way their chairmen get a double bonanza. The diddy fans are going to be raging.
  3. Look - I could have written the original question better ok? I get that but calling me that is way beyond the mark. I've supported Rangers for the best part of 20 years. I don't have much money but I buy the strips and try to get along to Ibrox every now and again after saving up. Like the rest of you I've been seriously hurting since february - losing sleep every night - trying to explain to my two sons (who are also Rangers fans) what is happening to their team when the whole story changes on a day to day basis. Now you say that and twist the knife in all because I ask if it's right to even consider going into another teams ground. Thanks man, means a lot.
  4. But is it a betrayal for a Rangers fan to walk into the home end of any other football ground? For me I would think there was much difference by going to see a game at Anfield. However this is also my thinking. I'm just talking about watching. For example, if I went to a Dunfermline game with friends I couldn't care less if Dunfermline got pumped despite being in the home end. The more goals I get to see the better.
  5. Cheers mate I used to watch this at midnight on Channel 4 when it was on late at night / early morning. Not sure if it's still on. Other than that you don't get to see much of it in this country though. Think I would make Miami Dolphins my team if I had to choose one, simply because of Ace Ventura!!! (I havent been to America before).
  6. All I wanted to ask was if it would be wrong to keep watching any games in Scotland. I'm at a real moral cross-roads. I don't have Rangers family behind me as my folks never watched football but I started to follow Rangers when I was waaaay back at primary school and first got into football. Whatever happens I will always be a Rangers man because as said above Rangers is more than a club.
  7. Probably the wrong choice of word here, sorry. 'Watch' would be more appropriate - so my question should be: "would you watch another club?" I am actually deadly serious
  8. Not even the juniors who have absolutely nothing to do with the senior leagues?
  9. So, three clubs of the five already stating they're about to sign their own death warrants and vote us out the SPL with at least two others likely to come too. Third Division it should be but are we really guaranteed to walk into the SFL? I'd like to think so but it's got to the point where I might need a backup plan for next season because as a football fan, I'll still need a dose of football. So, horrible horrible question, if you could bring yourself to it, who would you follow watch if we just happened to be left with no competitive league? Personally, I'd feel the need to watch my local junior side Oakley Utd. On top of that, Dunfermline just a few miles down the road from me is also an option (just to watch) as I have quite a few Pars friends from my school days (in 'Dunfie') and they wouldn't have voted us out after being relegated. Costs a relative fortune to watch poor football though so that's probably rather unlikely. I'll always be a Rangers man and if you look to the SFL leagues, many many people watch local sides like Morton, Ayr Utd etc despite being Bears at heart. Is there anything wrong with going to another club's game in your local area? I'm still undecided. Any thoughts? OB (edited to readdress the poorly worded question, sorry)
  10. What the hell is a zoomer - an ice lolly?
  11. I meant to approve that sorry. Imagine if we march to Hamden again but this time when people are actually there. Let the eyes of the world see us take over outside of the national stadium before the cup final and see that we can outnumber hearts and hibs fans when we arent even playing. They think they are so big now but we will show them that we will never ever die. If we do then they will die with us. We will all die together.
  12. Sadly I think the same but we WILL get back into the spl. We are scottish football and like Celtic we have more fans suporting us than EVRY other team in Scotland put together. If they don't have us then almost half of fans in scotland are lost making scottish football a bigger joke. The spl dont have the balls to let us go. They cant afford it. If we dont come to town then neither will their fans as the only proper football they get to see is when we are there lol.
  13. Fair enough but I actually watch my sky sports package a lot so this would be difficult for me. I might go down the middle of the road and cancel my hd tho. This way I hit them in the pocket but im not actually losing much of my free time.
  14. The celtic fans think they are the best in the world but we know different. Any Rangers fan who causes trouble at this fixture should be banned for life and from all grounds in scotland (and england if we get to move). If its ok for the sfa to ban somebody from scottish football for life then we should be able to do the same. There is no excuse to ruin our good name and especialy against them. let the celtic fans cause trouble and lets laugh at their fans when they get fined ha!
  15. I dont think that boycotting william hill will hurt them as much as we really could do. We should all put £50 (quite a lot, I know) on a really obvious single bet (e.g. Stoke v Arsenal). Arsenal win is a great bet at 10/11 so if we all do it then we can hit them for hundreds if not thousands and then donate the money to the Rangers fund after we take our original £50 back. Then they might take notice. Strength in numbers. Of course theres always a risk we may lose that money but its something im willing to risk for the sake of my club.
