We've got Joey Garner, so we might as well use him for what he does best.

We've got Barrie McKay, who can cross the ball for Garner.

We've got Miller, Windass, and Waghorn, who can get fed off Garners knockdowns.

Maybe not Waghorn, he'd blast the ball over the bar, or straight at the keeper.

I like our Joey, he may not be the best striker in the world, but if fed with the right ball, he could do well at Ibrox, and hopefully, at other Scottish football grounds we have to play. Let's be positive Bears!!

*FEED OUR JOE AND HE WILL SCORE, FEED OUR JOE AND HE WILL SCORE,

FEED OUR JOE, FEED OUR JOE, FEED OUR JOE AND HE WILL SCORE*.

When is he going to start doing that then? I've been waiting for ages and still nothing.

Boyd in his prime was one of the most natural instinctive finishers we've had at the club in a while. Garner has no natural instincts when it comes to finishing. Only think he looks natural doing is hitting his head off things

I agree he doesn't have the natural finishing instincts as Boyd. But, he has shown that he can do the job in the box with service. A big problem of ours is not providing that service, so not all JG's fault. I would definitely like to see him next season in a team that hopefully Pedro can build that creates chances. Not overly optimistic about that one though. Praying to be proved wrong.

Our wingers and full backs can't cross a ball,  and he is rubbish on the ground,  so Garner joy is thin on the ground.  Great goal today,  but unfortunately rare.

A bit Boyd like. He was a hero when he got the service first time round. Why can't JG? He's shown the last 2 games that he can finish from a cross, he's great for flick ons and is not as fat and lazy as Boyd. In a better team next season, he could score for fun.

It's not just Scotland mate where folks get told to remove them.  I know a shop keeper in hull that was told by plod to take it down

Exactly the point I was making. It's going on and nobody cares because it's not on the telly. Out of site, out of mind. It's nearly July and EVERY Bear should hang their colours on their house and tell anyone who is offended by it to fuck off. I like driving through Harthill around July time. It's lovely and colourful :UK: :crabflute:

It would take a plod with elephant baws to tell them to take it down and he would still fail. No surrender :UK::crabflute:

Saying garner is better than waghorn is like saying police academy 5 is better than police academy 6

I'm better than waghorn. Infact, my great great great grandad (whoever the fuck he is) is better than waghorn.

Garner in the right team has got the ability to do what he is supposed to do, score goals. Not go chasing things and get pissed off because it isn't happening. Not justifying his behaviour, but if the players around him done their job, then he would do his own job by putting the ball in the net. If I go into work tomorrow and get told to do this that and the next thing, in my van, but fuel will not be supplied, is that my fault for not doing it?

One goal and cunts are wanting them to stay

The goal is not the point. The point is the type of player he is and would he be different in a team that creates chances. Boyd scored a shitload of goals for us first time round coz he was given countless opportunities. He came back, got no service and scored very little and got slated to fuck for it.

You fuck up and open your eyes

My eyes are open mate. I'm not disagreeing that Garner has been pish. They've all been pish. But the guy can score when an opportunity comes along in the box. How many has he scored and how many were from outside the box? That goal today that you said was laid on a plate, what if that landed at Waghorn? Would he have definitely scored?

What's the basis for this it's our country's flag?

I don't know. I'm trying to find a vid of another incident where people were ordered to put the UJ away by the polis, as it was offending people. Muslims probably. Whatever the reason, as you say, it's our flag and we can wave it whenever we want :UK:

I don't know why the police would ask for them to be removed. If it's a rented property then more than likely he will have something in his housing agreement prohibiting the tenant from hanging flags or bunting from the property. If he owns it though I don't think there's anything they can do.

It was a cooncil hoose. I think there was some event coming up (fuck knows what event could happen in breich), but he was told to remove them.

Might have been an SNP rally or something.

Garners goal wouldn't have happened if not for Miller. Did you see his attempted goal earlier in the game? Miles away. He's dangerous in the air but we don't have the players to give him constant good service.

I'll admit I've been very critical of McKay of late, but today he changed the game.

If he could just find some sort of consistency I'd have him stay, but he's another one that looks uninterested a lot of the time.

So in short, McKay yes, Garner no.

My point is though, if next season we have got the players to provide the service, would he be worth keeping? I compared him to McCoist and Boyd because I think he is a penalty box striker and his current escapades is down to frustration from lack of service and he's been like a demon trying to make things happen, which clearly isn't his game.
