Agreed, The measures taken, and the consequences for theclub, are more than enough. I don't understand why the SPL can still have any jurisdiction over us when we are now in DIV3. For the sake of Scottish footbal as a whole, any punishment resulting from the ETB investigation should be set aside. My fear is that to agree to that, we may have to allow a few titles to be removed. As infuriating as that would be, this period is simply a moment in the club's history. With time, we can right all these wrongs .

Spot on. Such draconian measures should only be implemented if there are financial paramitters in which the clubs must work. This is the case here in Germany. Regulations are really tight, with clubs allowed a very limited amount of debt. They took immediate action after Borrusia Dortmund nearly went to the wall. Now, you can go and watch the double champions for as little as 10 Euro! Same with Bayern Munich, who astonishingly have zero debt, yet they have a "state of the art stadium" and a world class squad. The SFA in contrast stand back and let clubs get into critical financial peril and then wash their hands of the whole affair. Simply not fit for purpose.

Because the man had a professional interest in seeing how his main competitor was staying in business while his magazine had gone to the wall. Colin, can I suggest, once the team is back playing, that you approach the club with a view to relaunching the publication with you as editor? I'm quite sure green would not dismiss such a notion outright, especially as you have written previously for the club. All is not necessassarly lost yet. Best of luck.
