  1. Where's this relevance you speak of?
  2. Not going to be the most popular opinion on here but fuck it, I voted, so I should explain myself. We are a part of Scottish football, that's not going to change any time soon. Before the other clubs showed their true colours I'm pretty certain each and every one of us would have been for a league reconstruction. It has been needed for years. We will be back at the top sooner rather than later and there needs to be something to go back to. There's absolutely no point in salting the earth to the point that we have nowhere to go. The English league set up is an absolute pipe dream. At some point we are going to have to ask ourselves what we want to see. Scottish football absolutely fucked? I understand hatred towards the clubs that used a transparent as fuck vote against us for "integrity" (my arse) reasons but again, had this been a year or two ago any movement to make the leagues a more competitive and worthwhile endeavour would have been welcomed.
  3. I know what you mean. All to easy to think of them as treacherous dicks but We don't know all the facts. When the chat about no contact was coming out I have to admit concern, must have been worse for these players. I just can't get past the leaving on a free though. That'll keep me pissed off.
  4. likewise. Who are we to dictate to the players (especially those who have shown the club unbelievable loyalty) who they can or can't play for. The SFA is NOT Scotland.
  5. I've been trying to look at this from a less pissed off place for a while but I'm struggling. I can see why some players would have looked to move on. There was an unparalleled amount of turmoil going on at the time, they didn't feel about Green how the majority of us do now and I understand a professional having to protect their career. I really do. What won't be overlooked by me though is the comments after leaving and the refusal to transfer over was just unforgivable. I don't really have much hate in me, but I was pretty fucking close to it.
  6. I split my time between Cramlington (not far at all from Newcastle) and Edinburgh and drive up for games pretty regularly. Might be possible to do a lift type scenario sometimes? And hello, my second post!
  7. 1. absolutely! my first post and it gets to be about football, happy days! 2. we all have some concerns I think, but this season will be the best learning curve possible and we'll definitely have opportunities to tinker with the style of play 3. that's a bit of a worry so far, but we're in a competitive league and you have to trust the manager to put out the players to win games. I really think this season should be treated the same as any other, regardless of the division. If that's with the older players so be it. Get a commanding lead and then blood the youth!
