  1. Instead of unashamedly plugging his book, he is now doing it with Dave King, a man with a reputation like CW and it does'nt matter if he is rich, as we have had rich people owning Rangers before and we still nearly went under, and with him at the club, allegedly losing 20 million. With the new austerity rules for football clubs coming in this year, we need good men at all departments of Rangers not some trumped up shyster, who was already at the club and done absolutely nothing except moan about 20 million being lost, maybe he wants back in to get his 20 million back.

  2. They say King lost £20 million in Rangers, maybe King wants control to get his money back over a number of years. If leggo is right can you blame the initial investors fighting back to secure all their hard work over the last year. I have thought all along it was just too easy to oust them without reply.

  3. And Jesus was the fulfilment of Jewish belief that the messiah would come to save them.

Read Ezekiel chapters 1 to 11. Israel is wiped out to single figures, only the 144,000 sealed are saved. At that time(just shortly), Israel as a nation is resurrected. The jews in the church period have to be saved the same as everybody, therefore when christ comes back there is no judaism and no church period, they are done away with as was the other periods in the seven dispensations.

  4. Let me leave it with you.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

    - King James Bible

Yes, but you have to believe.

  5. Are you paying attention to this thread, Catholics and Roman Catholics are not the same religions.

All Christian religions are Catholic, Romans are a specific sect.

I hope that cleared things up for you.

No you have not cleared things up as god only gave one religion to this world judaism, christianity is a belief in the sin cleansing blood of christ and hope of his resurrection. Therefore all religions are pagan satanic worship. Also judaism stopped two thousand years ago at calvary.

  6. For any young Bears looking for ex Rangers players to read about you couldn't get a more colourful character than Bud.

His career borders on the unbelievable at times. Sent off 20 times, 2 goals in a European final, escorted from the pitch at gunpoint in US,sold a garden hut to a guy in the crowd whilst waiting to take a corner for WBA,sent home from the world cup, sitting on the ball during a game against some of the best players in world football at the time.as well as being a great player.

Never forgot the night at Ibrox when he grabbed johnny Doyle's hair in a player melee and Doyle got up in a rage and nearly hooked the referee ha ha.

  7. Take football away from Ramgers and you would have fk all - everyone is free to follow their own religion, or non-religion that they wish; have what eve political leanings they wish but Rangers do not exist because of some religious, quasi political support. If there was none of the political or religious shite attached to our club we would still fill Ibrox - if we took away the football You would be lucky to have enough turn up at ibrox to fit in a transit wan.

basically an article full of pish - and Green did not save us out of some religious or political fight but because it was a cash making opportunity - he did not take up the fight because he found done religion or suddenly wanted to support unionism but because it would help the club survive and make him money - and the 22 million he raised was not in support if any political or religious cause but because our wide spread support offers a chance to provide a financial return!

basically the whole article if full of push and vinegar and the sort of shite that would drag us down!

Ally Mccoist took football away from Ibrox and they still turned up in their 50000 :pipe:

Reminds me of the chubby brown joke...

They say not every protestant is a Rangers supporter, but how come every Rangers supporter is a protestant.

  8. Aye, all that season ticket money coming coupled with what's left of the IPO money.

    Shittin' masel.

When Rangers were making 40/50 million per year they still ran up high debt, and with CG gone, there is certainly a worry whether the present board can deliver. The football side of the club does'nt show any real promise either, and with the people of the so called delusional plan gone, Rangers are without a go getter in the boardroom and on the football side.

  9. I was there that day, it was minutes after the game. It was so packed at the stairs we decided to go down main stand side stairs and I remember passing by and hearing all the noise and saying they are really celebrating, little did we know, also never knew until we got back home. work mate was caught up in it, he was off work for two weeks and the back of his legs were all claw marks of people under him clawing to get out. Never will forget that.

  10. well getting back to the top of Scottish football is straight forward, no discussions needed. Walter Smith sent Celtic a message last week and now the SFA/SPL today. that they are ready to come back into the fold and its all got to do with signing the tv deal to save Scottish football. CG mouth was his downfall, and telling everyone he would not sign it, and the wheels to remove him went into overdrive last week with all gravity. The fulcrum of all the moves is Walter Smith, he is in charge, so back to SDM era, lets see how things pan out.

  11. Wouldn't go as far back as Advocaat, had the same feeling of optimism when PLG arrived but change is not something we embrace. For far too long "beating Celtic" has been enough to satisfy most fans. This type of mentality leads to short term decisions being made rather than a vision of the future in which each department of the club employs the person most suited to carry this forward (think swansea).

The"jobs for the boys" mentality still runs through the club, the fans in some cases also still cling to the past judging by the calls to bring back various players/board members in the past week or so.

The scenario with PLG is something similar to what's happened now, they cause trouble, sit tight and something has to give, usually the outsiders. Personally i reckon boyd and ferguson should have went with PLG, and now the present board should be changed by the new CEO, picked by the city to run Rangers to the standard of successful clubs.

  12. Once again you have posted on a thread having a go at someone's opinion and making yourself out to be some kind of authority on what should and shouldn't be posted without providing any debate or opinion on the content of the thread! As I have said previously, especially on this topic that you seem to have a difficult time discussing without resorting to trying to belittle posters opinions different from yours, you really are quite boring!

Quite right there should be tighter rules on hijacking a thread.

  13. we especially need someone who actually knows what good football is, just look at the owner of Swansea, he seems to be the driving force and also ICT where managers have came and went and they still come up with acceptable football. unlike Rangers who are still playing kick and rush.

  14. he was duped into believing he was getting 10 million to spend..

No way was £10m available, what for the 3rd tier of Scottish football, a good manager would'nt need that for SPL football as most managers in the SPL have to work with next to nothing and they produce some good football. the quicker ally goes the better, I'am beginning to loathe his character by the minute by what's happening.

  15. Paul Murray said on bbc sportsound that there would need to be a new board put in place, surprise surprise, its almost as if everything was planned by them in the first place, to put the blame on fall guys such as Craig whyte and CG and they come walking back in to a debtless club of which they caused the debt and not one finger of blame pointed at them. The whole episode from david murray to the present situation reeks of a put up job or not?
