  1. Guys lets not kid ourselves on we aint gonna have a quality midfielder or 2 in before the window slams shut on us. I'm guessing that if we are not prepared to sell one or both of our assets Walter will make a panic p*shy buy at the last minute wasting probably the best part of £2m to add to the rest o the garbage he has bought this summer. We will be lucky to finish 3rd based on our current flock! :angry2: Preiction; Carlos leaves, we sign 2 questionable midfielders and Daily continues to get a game. I also think that we will allow the likes of DC to leave FOC after nearly getting £3m for him a few months ago. Disaster! Another loss Walt, well done.
  2. Newcastle buy Cuellar, Hemdani finds another club and Rangers fail to acquire the presence they need in midfield. The struggles go on but Smith does not. The protest from the fans becomes loud and insistent and the Rangers manager decides his situation is untenable. Celtic go on to win four in a row as Rangers undergo a meltdown of Paul Le Guen proportions. Only this time there is no Uncle Walter to turn to . . . What should happen Smith must dedicate himself to a more expansive playing style. There must, at least, be pace and width. He should admit his transfer errors and get rid of them. There must be a confidence in youth. Kyle Lafferty is his biggest signing and should play, particularly when the options are Charlie Adam or others who have been given a succession of opportunities. John Fleck should be introduced, if only for an initial short burst, with other members of the under-19 squad that has been so highly praised. They are either good players or they ain't. Let's find out. Supporters should be told the blunt truth about the financial situation and of the club's goals, short-term and long-term. Herald. its gonna happen!
  3. NO SIGNINGS NOW! FACT!!! we might get a couple of desperados on loan but that will be our lot and NOT THE WAY TO GO, absolute f**king disaster on such a big scale. We don't have a team to win the league and now we can't add any more quality F**CKING GREAT WALTER! A******E!!! Without selling our better players we're goosed as no-one will want our outcasts. No league fo us for probably the next 2-3 years now.
  4. Can someone tell me where Rangers are going? We are miles away from the English Premiership, struggling to compete with the championship for transfer fees and wages. I want to see Scottish players in our squad but only if they are good enough to be there but at the mo it seems we cant attract many others. I believe Walter was brought back to steady the ship and did just that with anti football tactics last season but i do not feel he's the right man for taking the club forward. This transfer window has been an absolute joke and Walter now finds himself top heavy with strikers, all of which would struggle for a game in any team in the Premiership, when he is determined to play one up front?! I genuinely do not believe we will be able to attract a playmaker we so so badly need. Rangers, if we discount Albertz, have never had someone who could threaten teams with a free kick, never! and yet every team we come up against has one. i hate to sound negative but it just seems that every summer we try to buy a new team, most of which end up being duds. What a team we had under Dick in his first year, what a team! and the sad thing is we will most probably never have that quality again. Walter will get desperate and let Cousin and Darchville go for next to nowt towards the end of the transfer window you watch, every manager knows it. Boyd should be trying to get away now before he has another frustrating season on-off the bench. If we go out of Europe tonight there will be no further signings just loans and in my opinion this devalues our reputation and forces our own players onto the bench. Sorry state...
  5. i heard we were gonna sign stephen pearson! btw wouldnae surprise me the way its goin!! na surely no!!!
  6. Same old story... Last minute panic buying always ends up costing Rangers in the long run. The list of duds bought on deadline day is completely embarrasing. Get Davis ffs and get onto the training field with what we have for now. We can get a defender later... however i bet we'll be sat here come THE transfer deadline day doing the same s**t and buying more duds no doubt. BTW I don't think Mendes would do a job for us either, it sounds too similar to that other dud we bought from Porto that tore Celtic apart single handedly!! Aye Right!!! :bouncy:
