  1. Unbelievable that is has taken long for the truth to come out.

I have to say I really admire the families who have never given up the fight and refused to lie down as they were fucked over time and time again. Nothing can take the pain away, but at least they know the truth has prevailed.

RIP those who died, and a toast to the families who stood firm all this time.

  2. Always loved him. Heard after he left that he had a groin tear and could have opted for a new type of op which would have got him back very quickly. He refused and lay in the medical room for the season waiting for his big move. Dunno if true but came from the medical staff.

  3. Having read alot of the post with regards to the rights and wrongs of singing about the UVF at Ibrox.

Is this not an ideal time to draw a line on some activity that may well still have it's place in society but does it really have a place at a football stadium .

There is potentially thousands of new fans this year with new streams of revenue and I mean that in a demographic sense.

Let's welcome the new with open arms and not scare them shitless with tales of Gunmen

Folk like you would bend over and take it from all and sundry as long as you were told you were a good boy. Thank fuck I am nothing like you.

  4. No matter what, there is a clear conflict here. I have said it for a while now, but there is no doubt in my mind that Liewell is lining folks pockets in order to crucify us at every turn. A few hundred grand here and there is fuck all, and yet the vast majority of these muppets have taken it.

In saying that, it happens in every business I have ever worked in, so I assume football at every juncture is the same.

  5. Apparently Umbro only ordered 80,000 home kits last season from the manufacturer. Seems this is well below the likes of Newcastle who were at around 220,000.

The key to making cash is to get them up for sale all over the world. As far as I can see the exposure we have had to date has been total garbage, so lets hope that changes.

Costs to make each kit are around a tenner, and they are normally sold to Sports Direct for about 22 quid. They then make 20 odd when they sell them. It will be interesting to know how much we will be getting from each sale so we can run the numbers.

With second and third kits, as well as other apparel there should be a few quid in it.

  6. These chairmen made a decision based on their "supporters" say so (ALLEGEDLY) Now I think these same "supporters" would be lucky to have even went to a handful of games between them...AND going by the number of season tickets that each clubs sell (apart from the filth) it means that a paltry few thousand voices (if that) have fucked their clubs by being bigots who hate us more than they love the club they purport to be a supporter of.

    Go figure it out! :wanker:

It basically means that if you took the total of supporters who wanted rid of us from the SPL, it would be lucky to half fill Ibrox on any given matchday...and THAT'S A FACT, Jack :pipe:

Sad but true. It also lets you see that that old Scottish mentality of not wanting to see folk get ahead has fucked them as well - cut off their nose to spite their face. I have to say I am really enjoying this now.

Additionally, give it a few more Scotland games with continued abuse and our players being dropped/ignored, the Rangers men who go will start to drift away and the support will drop there as well. Less money to all these tossers is their only outlook.

  7. Are you all still boycotting ST's out there?

Last I heard mate. I was travelling July and just got back so haven't any updates from anyone. I will likely speak with some of the Oz lads this week as well to see what they think.

Folk still want fan ownership but as someone pointed out yesterday, the support is so fractured the reality is that it may never happen.

I have to say that it has been good to see Green standing up for us, and I honestly cannot remember the last time anyone from the boardroom did that.

  8. As the title says i wonder what bomber is thinking now after today's events regarding season tickets. Being 30 years old i remember John Brown in the 9 in a row era, and the performance he put in against Leeds at Elland Road in 92, so in my eyes he will always be a legend, however i feel he let himself down over his "takeover bid" which has all gone very quite now. Is it now time that he came out and appologised to Charles Green and admit he was wrong?

Apologise for wanting fan ownership? I will always want fan ownership as it is the only way we will ever guarantee that we never get f#cked over again. Does it stop me from appreciating the fact that Green is standing up for us, etc? Of course not, and I do think he has done very well so far, but I still think fan ownership is the way to go, whenever that may be.

  9. In May the legends team came to the masters tourney in HK.

Had lunch with a few, and I had my kids with me.

At the end my kids said they had fun, and once we had headed off asked me, "who is the Italian guy who says the F word all the time?" :D

He was a total gent of course and it was very interesting watching the dynamics between the players - even after all this time they are still very loyal to one another. From all the round the world, and yet all Rangers men - just the way it should be.

  10. I am the first to admit that I have been very suspicious re Green, but all that aside, if he stands up for Rangers and nowt else, I will support him for that alone.

I also prefer the fact that as he is from England and another club in effect, as thus has no pre-conceived ideas, so that when he states that we are getting the pish ripped out of us, we then know for sure that we haven't been imagining it for the last ten fucking years!!!!

    The truth will out!

  11. Rangers had strips made by admiral in the 90s and I think Murray had bought admiral to do it strips fell apart and were shite quality

That was 20 years ago mate and Murray is not involved. Just seems we are worried about buying tickets selling to UK based bears when we can make millions on selling merchandise to a global market and its not being looked at.

If Mike Ashley comes in he will make millions instead. Why wouldn't we want to do that?
