  1. The last time you saw our Manager on the side of the pitch, in the "Technical Area" forging his team onwards and upwards?????

The guy has lost the fight.

Its sad and embarresing for a Rangers Manager to show no leadership in the eye of the storm. Had we won today, and shown the true grit of a gers team of old, 1 point the difference, but no, no leadership, 7 points adrift of the worst Celtic team in 25 years. Disgusted

  2. He might as fuckin well be the amount of times he spouts there name.

Consitency this, consitency that, Fuck right off ya muppet and focus on our team instead of talking them up all the time.

Its your fault that we are lagging behind ! Get it sorted.

If we Lose on Saturday, do the honourable thing and GTF ! Win and your safe to the end of the season as long as we win the league.

Thia from the BBC after todays result. Need I say more. Disgusting.

There's no margin for error for us now. Give Celtic credit for their consistency over the season which has led to that. We're disappointed to lose a game we feel we shaded."

away tae fuck smith yer finished.....Souness never taught you like this. yer a pensioner and youve lost the fight

  3. CHARLIE ADAM insists Rangers can still catch up with Celtic and win the league the way the Parkhead club did last season.

The Light Blues find themselves seven points behind in the title race after they lost today's Old Firm derby 1-0 at Ibrox.

Kenny Miller, RangersBut having seen the title go to Glasgow's east end after Gordon Strachan's men made up a similar gap before the summer, Adam sees no reason why Gers can't do the same thing.

He said: "It was a tough day for us. Goals win you games and on this occasion it was Celtic who managed to score.

"The first goal has a big say in what happens in these games. It has been that way over a number of years.

"We had opportunities to score and might have won if we'd gone ahead but we never did that and they made the breakthrough.

"Now we'll get on with it. We'll bounce back and we know there is still a long way to go in the championship.

"We're perfectly capable of winning anywhere and we know we've got to roll our sleeves up, work really hard and try to claw the gap back.Davie Weir

"Celtic did that last year so I don't see why we can't do the same thing again ourselves this season.

"The title is not lost and there are plenty of games left to play with lots of points up for grabs.

"There will still be twists and turns from now until May and it's just up to us to capitalise on it if Celtic make any mistakes"

Adam was a surprise starter as he came into the team for the first time in four weeks at Kyle Lafferty's expense.

Although he has been linked with a January move away from Ibrox, he's determined to stay and fight for his place.

Charlie Adam, RangersAnd having lost in the derby after he was a winner last time out, he's just as eager to ensure he tastes victory in the big game again in the future as a Gers star.

Adam added: "It has been the case a few times now that I've only played in certain matches but I train as though I'll play in every game so I was prepared to play.

"When I'm not in the first team, I'm taking part in bounce games or in the reserves so it's not a difficult situation for me.

"To come back into the team was fantastic and it showed the manager still has faith in me.

"It was great to be back in the side but you obviously you to come in and get victories so it was disappointing the way the game ended."

McCulloch, Broadfoot and Ferguson will all be gutted, Adam beat them to it. The usual bullshit that comes from the players mouth after a defeat.

    Shut the fuck up Adam!

this article is hard to read. When you lose an odl firm derby, you keep yer head down, stay away from the media and get back to righting the wrongs....unfortunately for charlie, he is a gullible you man with a poor PR management set. Its not his place to give the rallying cry.

  4. Unfortunately Kevin will be out for the rest of the season, Pedro will go back to the Premiership in the Jan window (wait and see ) which will leave us with Mr. Rangers Ferguson. I liked fergie when he was with us before he went down south, however he was never the same player when he came back. Too many serious injuries, getting past it for a dominant centre Midfielder.

  5. Not a pure fan of Boydy, however he does get the goals, and has improved of late. OK he missed a sitter, however he is an assett. Strikers ratio of goals scored per chances are relevant, one chnace, one miss. had the rest of the team (including our inspirational midfielder Barry....not) given him more chances, he would have got one eventually. Strikers union here, its not boyds fault we lost today. We are tactically pish poor and some of the overated so called legends (Barry) need to call it a day.

  6. by 7 points - Walter Smith and Co, hang your heads in shame. That is one of the worst celtc sides I have ever seen - they are pathetic!

Today showed that we have a squad full of complete and utter shite. Take Pedro Mendes and Steven Davis out that side and we are embarrassing.

Walter Smith you should stand down with immediate effect. Your results are a disgrace, your team selections are terrible, your substitutions are pish, your signings are awful and you were the one who thought we could go into one of the most important seasons in years, with a 38 year old has been at the back and an ex tim up front who could not hit a barn door, he even struggles to stay on his feet at times.

Looks like a few of us were right about not wanting Boyd to start aswell for a number of reasons. In tight games(the majority of us knew this from the start - some were expecting us to molocate them, wake up aye) when the opposition have two physical centre backs, you do not play Boyd. Until we have quality wing backs, and at least one winger, Boyd has to sit out these matches. That is not just a dig at Boyd, but a dig at everyone, from the management to players. Long balls to Boyd - WAKE THE FUCK UP WALTER and get your players told ffs. The players should also have chipped in and bought Boyd a pair of springs for his boots.

Defensive errors have cost us this season, our manager says we will work on them - obviously not hard enough. Broadfoot's defending for the goal was laughable - what was he trying to do, the hokey cokey?

Short corners, whats the point - we can't even do the basics.

the BEST post of the night. Spot on

Broadfoot, Weir, Papac(sleeping once again on a number of occassions, this time we were lucky it never cost us)Whittaker, Miller, Ferguson and Boyd, along with the likes of Adam, Burke and McCulloch - get them all away to fcuk. Especially Captain Undroppable who today must have taken a leaf out of McCulloch's book and played hide and seek, just like he has done all season.

    Same old Rangers.

Oh and another thing, Lee Wilkie is on his way to Rangers.

    Merry fucking Christmas.

BEST post of the night. Spot On

  7. This always crops up after we suffer a morale draining defeat.

I agree with a few of them, Fleck and McMillian being the obvious ones, getting a chance but we still have to be careful.

This time last year we were calling for guys like Furman, Lennon, Loy, Shinnie and Lowing to be given a chance and they didn't.

All of them have now gone out on loan, and so far, only Furman has shown that he could make it at Rangers IMO.

Stepping up from youth team football to the real thing is a lot harder than some people make it out to be.

Ok fair point, however, these young boys are only as good as these boys play with. With all due respect to the teams that they have gone too on loan, they are not going to be playing with guys like Pedro, weir and davis are they, who could bring these boys on? Its like the old Fleck Rooney comparisons, would Rooney have become the player he is today if Moyes sent him on loan at Swansea for instance? No, he gave him a chance and flourished. Still remeber the goal rooney scored against the greatest arsenal team in the last century when he was 16. The rest is history as someone once said.

Fleck and Aaron need to be thrown in and given a chance to flourish. Aaron has CL experience FFS and Fleck is spoited as the best young scottish talent since Dalglish FFS !

  8. well a would have

    Wilson in for Broadfoot

    Efram in for Adam

    at least

but what if we play youth and we get beat then we get on their back for bad perfrormences, I am all for playing youth

As much as I hate Rangers gettin beat, Id rather see young boys being given the chance and educate them than stickin with shyte like were watchin the noo.

  9. Give me Phil Brown from Hull anyday. Most highly regarded manager in the game right now and supports the rangers. Would move in a heartbeat.

Does he? Haven't heard that before.

yeah i would like some proof for that one, if true it puts him up there.

trust me guys, he has a real soft spot for Rangers and is a bears fan. doesnt mean shyte mind you, he is a professional.... would bite his right arm of to come to Rangers

  10. Please vote if Phil Brown would be a good choice as the next potential Manager of RFC.

Honestly where are we getting the money to buy out his contract?

he would be on minimum wage at hull for a Manager of rangers status. Get him now !!!!!!!!!!!

  11. I think the fans deserve an explanation from Wattie on a number of issues about this season...

    - Why did he spend so much money on players he doesnt seem to want to play? (Edu, Velicka.....)

    - Why does he continue to play Lafferty at LM when its clear to everyone that he cant play there?

    - Why is he too stubborn to drop players that arent playing well? (Fergie, Mcgreggor....)

    - Why keep playing Davie Weir when his pace was costing us goals and games last season?

    - Why sign one of the most promising spanish youngsters on loan to play him in reserve games?

    - Why will he not give youth a chance(even has a sub) when every other club in the country does it with some success?

    - Why is the 1st pick back 4 made up of 4 Cb's?

    - Why is he so fucking tactically inept?!?!

Im sure there are plenty of more things i have missed

The only explanation we need, want is walters exit. everyone knows how bad its getting.

  12. Not a chance in hell that smith will play youngsters !

Remember years ago, we had the scottish u/18 captain, english u/18 captain, best young NI international, a reserve team that had an eventual 7 full internationals and hardly one of themn ever got a look in. Hes a wank and needs to go. Everyone sprouts about the money that murray wont spend, but lets look in our own backyard and give some good young boys a go. Fergi at Man U did it and proved everyone wrong. Smioth has neglected young potential for decades.

Smith is a weak prick and must go. Smith=No future for Rangers !

  13. i suspected that. knew he would have preffered the tims, but remember mo malpas on radio saying mcdonald was inconsolable at the time, as he thought his big move was not going to happen.

4 weeks later, tims come in on pre contract, and the rest is history as they say my son.

It's a repeat of the John Hartson farce where a player was desparate to sign for us and we pulled out only for that player to then put us to the sword for celtc.

hate to agree anything about hartson, but another example of mismanagement. was this another smith episode?

  14. Who cares?

He signed for them. End of.

either way yuo look at it, had we signed Brown, McDonald, robson when we had the chance and were heavily linked with them at the time they were available, where would we be now (where wopuld they be?)? Instead we brought back Barry (finished) instead of Brown, Lafferty instead of robson, and Miller, (although I actually think he has done ok), Velicka, JCD, instead of McDonald(top goalscorer last year, sores in massive games for them).

weakned them and strenthened us????Go figure.
