In Football sometimes you are only as good as your last result, at the Forfar game I thought fuck it he has had his time and some of the names he was called on here was a downright disgrace but if he and the team keep it up it will be a distant memory soon.
This
Supported the team and manager all last season but Forfar was disgraceful and left the ground thinking he was done, couple of good performances may change things but fair way to go yet
-
At the end of the day individually we can't affect the off field pish but what we can do is support the team on the pitch and concentrate on the football
Fuck the soap opera
-
Pleased for Daly to score tonight but OP is off the planet comparing him to Hateley
-
Football should always be 3pm Saturday, but only games I have been to on Friday night are tonight and ally hat trick against the scum in the Glasgow cup
Keep them coming!!
-
Friday Night football....Its the future!
Defo mate just rolling into the Toby Jug right now, great at football tonight with none of the Green/ McColl/mini pish to bother us
-
Enjoyed tonight, pre match sash bash then the Teddies playing it like that, now into town and its only 10.15!!
Friday away days are magic
-
Up for this one, Greengairs Thistle giving it large
Mon the teddies!
-
£17 for Airdrie, think Forfar was £15 most of last season was roughly £15 iirc but Queens Park was most expensive at £20
I think football generally in Scotland is over priced and is a factor in attendances... that and most of the football being shit!!
-
Brilliant, gets me every time
-
Looking forward to this, tickets sorted and pre match swally with a bit of community singing then back in town post match!
Gallagher
McAusland
Jig
Faure
Wallace
Black
Law
McLeod
Shiels
Templeton
Daly
3 0 to the Queens 11
-
And so the soap opera continues, disgusted by all of them
-
Going all round twitter with the same effect, Moffat is getting pelters.
Good, fucker deserves every bit of abuse possible.
-
If I recall he was out on the left, he was keen to cut inside also. His free kick against Dundee was a touch of class and he charged at the Newscastle defence on numerous occasions during the first half. I hope I'm not getting carried away but he could be a big player for us in the next couple of seasons.
Fingers crossed, looking forward to seeing how he plays
-
He did indeed.
I never thought about it before those games, but if we line up ...
Black
Perlata Law McLeod
Templeton
Daly
With Foster and Wallace providing width with their engines from full back (they have the pace to track back into position easily too if caught out)
I think it's got a good balance to it.
Good shout, think Templeton needs to work on his fitness / strength a bit and thought last season when Sheils played well we played well but can't play everybody!
-
Can't wait to see Peralta in the midfield. Looked top notch against Dundee and Newcastle.
Did not get to the friendlies that Peralta played, what's his position?
-
One rule for one, another for The Rangers.
I try and avoid that and used to think it all levels out eventually but the campaign by the other mob has built so much momentum to their position of strength that if one of them said it was sunny outside you would grab a coat and hat!
We are getting fucked senseless yet most people want to argue with fellow bears, Green / McColl etc
-
What a fucking scumbag!
I am generally not a tit for tat type of person and for stupidity Black deserves to be punished if guilty but how can that cunt be tweeting all that pish.
His club should be ripping him a new one for that fucking rubbish.
-
Disappointed only temporary, waste of a wage and sends out the correct signal to the other younger players
-
Not condoning being fucking stupid but should the SFA be naming him?
Even if innocent he is gonna get a shitload of abuse and the smear against his name.
Typical, thought he started the season well and was looking more like the player we thought we were getting last season
-
What the hell has that to do with anything????
As I said I liked him as a finisher, however imo he should have signed a new deal with a minimum fee release of £1m that Middlesborough would have paid so we could get some money for him.
Don't forget this was when Lloyds had control over the purse strings, so every little would help.
I do agree that him and Smith didn't see eye to eye but I think when his contract was drifting, he only scored 3 or 4 goals from Xmas, which for the player he was it was a drought but possibly understandable if his head was elsewhere
We seem to be the only club that just releases players, buy off contracts etc.
i don't understand the fixation we have with bringing old players back, once they have left we should move on the same as they have
-
Is this the same Boyd that gave a percentage of his signing on fee to Killie then left us on a Bosman to line his pockets in the Championship, no thanks..
Btw I thought he was a great finisher and deserved a better chance in some of the big games that he always got dropped for
-
Ha ha ha brilliant
-
Daly could and should have scored a hat trick last week and think he hit the post today, I am more concerned at the lack of form from Little as come 1st Sept can see him struggling to get on the bench never mind a game
-
Law is going to be vital for us this season. Not only is he making the team tick, he seems to have allowed Black to settle into a player we know he can be. McAusland looks good on the right, and Gallagher has been impressive.
To think that last years stars, Templeton and Shiels, are both playing poor so far, says a lot when we are still winning. Get them back on form, with the new signings coming in, then we are looking good for Div 2.
Black has started the season really well and looks to have struck up a good relationship with Law, who has settled quickly and looks a player.

Agree with OP's team, would be good to carry on form and give a run out to Aird, Gasparotto etc. after a few goals up
