  1. Having a bit of a moan hear but is it just me that hates when various qualifiers are on for international competitions. No Rangers match to go to for about 2 weeks due to this. I do apologise to anyone on here who give a hoot about Scotland or any other national team but frankly I don't and never have. Only ever went to one Scotland match which was against England in the home international tournament back in 1974 (Won 2-0) and I believe Joe Jordan scored one of the goals but the abiding memory for me was big Tam Forsyth's sliding tackle that came from nowhere on Mick Channon which denied him which looked like a certainty of a goal. Big Tam was already a bit of a hero for me when he tapped in that goal in the 1973 centenary Scottish cup final at Hampden against the Taigs Needless to say that was the highlight of the match for me because it was a bear and that's always the way it's been for me (Rangers before Scotland) If any bears on here still follow Scotland I apologise again but for me if they get beat tomorrow night I'll just shrug my shoulders and say so what. Roll on the Arbroath game this weekend
  2. NEIL DONCASTER refuses to rush his search for an SPFL sponsor because it’s more important to put principles before pounds. The chief executive says he’ll only do business with brands whose reputations are deemed worthy of the status that comes with being title sponsors of our national sport. That would appear to rule out payday loan companies who are significant sponsors within the game despite accusations they exploit the financially desperate. While Doncaster insists talks are ongoing with a number of interested parties, it could take months before a deal is struck – and he doesn’t think that should alarm cash-strapped clubs. Doncaster said: “It’s more important we get the right partner, rather than we do something quickly. “It must be a partner that’s fit for the game and fit for the SPFL in terms of the image it projects. “We’ve had expressions of interest from a number of parties but it’s important we have the right brand at such an important time in the SPFL’s development. That’s worth waiting for. -------------------------------------------------- Could be no sponsor this season, sure the directors of the sheep, Dundee hibs and the rest will have twitchy bums
  3. Maybe Traynor's not aware of it, but I'm sure you have a contact address to make him aware
  4. Cheers Mate just put in complaint and worded as such: Jim Spence is a reporter who has an anti Glasgow rangers bias. This has been evident on a number of occasions and below is his latest Live on SportSound: "John McClelland, former Chairman of the old club that died" As a license payer (No choice as required by law) it has become increasingly evident that BBC Scotland is riddled with a certain type of reporter particularly in the sports department. You will be aware that I am not the first to complain on this subject / person and I think it is high time the BBC particularly in Scotland had a word with the likes of Spence and his like minded accomplices such as Stuart Cosgrove and Chris McLaughlin.
  5. Roy Greenslade another member of the bheast journos without doubt
  6. Are you sure it wasn't the polystyrene he ate as it probably has more flavour and is likely to be more nutritional
  7. A few years back I recall there was an amateur team in the lothians area called Dukla Pumpherston (Which for younger bears on here was taken from a relatively successful Czechoslovakian side at the time called Dukla Prague). Going a bit off topic here but on a similar theme i'm sure we've all heard of the Red Hot Chilli Pipers. Guy I work beside who comes from Fort William was telling me they have a local tribute band called Def Shepherd (Appeals to my sense of humour). This my first post so go easy on me if you think it's pish
