    If we go into the Europa League after Christmas will Jelavic be eligible?

    no offence mate,

    but why would you think Jelavic would be eligable to play in Europa League for us, when he played and scored for Rapid in that competition before joining us ?

    you play in a comp for one team - we go into that cup after xmas & he's signed for us, he's ineligable regardless

    The thing is the bonus was for retaining their Championship status, which they didn't. They got promoted and received £400,000 each for promotion.

    No. Therefor, they AVOIDED relegation, Charlie is quite right to want his bonus that was agreed when he signed. They may have been paid handsomely for promotion, but there was also a relegation avoidance term within his contract, which he is entitled to.

    whichever play on words people want to use .... championship retention / avoid relegation...it comes down to the same principle...blackpool offering a bonus clause for not being relegated.

    Were is this figure coming from Rapid never came up with that fee thats what we offered first time to chance our arm. And he had 2YEARS left on his contract

    The papers, the skysports stories all had £1.5million & 1year remaining.

    I never read any saying Rapid wanted £5m or that he had 2years left.If anything said that, then it'd likely be The Sun, who are full of shite day in day out

    So in your opinion, we could get almost any team in Scotland then, and allow him to play.

    In my opinion there are only 4 scottish teams in form at the moment, one being us.

    Motherwell, Hearts & Celtic are the only other Scottish teams in form & we've beaten all 3

    we went from a £1.5million fee for a player in the last 12months of his contract to paying £4million for Jela..we fuckin showed them alright :rolleyes:

    We need another player in to help with squad depth, 2 injuries yesterday meant we only had 4 experienced players on the bench (1 being Alxander & another being sicknote Webster drafted in)

    before anyone picks hole's in my point - I know the 3 youngster rule - but my point being we were down to the bare bones yesterday. Great win, but still down to bare bones.

    I was quite hopeful Kerkar would be signed by now, considering he's done well in the trial games, sounds like he'd be a welcome addition.
