We'll be just like the taigs. How wonderful.
Some would argue that some of our board were not averse to taig like behaviour to get to their current positions , so therefore why not take the same approach with our enemies whenever presented with a chance to show them up for the incompetent shower they are. BTW the board deserve credit for the management & backroom staff appointments , but they could gain a bit more brownie points if they would drop the dignified silence pish.

Queers is a piece of lying shit...he has been caught out before live on tv
hopefully his latest bout of " lazy journalism" will earn him the tin tack
Should have done , but as the RST statement shows he has loads of previous and as the rhag in questions recent recruitment shows ,honesty and integrity is not a requirement for employment within their ranks.

Totally agree - Ferguson stopped improving at about 21 or 22 and stayed at that same level with sideways passing becoming the norm. Pity as he had so much more to offer. Had Durrant not picked up that injury then our biggest problem would have been keeping him when the big guns from Italy and Spain would have come calling.
Agree, I think the managers influence would have nudged him in that direction. As for Barry , wrong team wrong time comes to mind . The Advocaat era Ferguson could have played for any of the top English sides of the time. Not sure why he gets it so tight from some at times, probably the PLG episode but hindsights a great thing & most fans at the time would agree that PLG's revolution wasn't working at the time & didn't look like paying dividends any time soon. As an aside, does anyone think that Charlie ,Derek or Barry's return from injury would have attracted over 12 000 to a reserve game.

Why ? Surely we all agree that the club should challenge those who
deliberately go out to lie about this. Hopefully the next step will be to defend the support when appropriate.

Durrant for me was the best of the four, though i think Barry's european performances were different class considering the quality we faced. Miller & Derek Ferguson have really only themselves to blame for how things worked out for them . I feel fortunate to have watched all four although the sad thing is imo they all probably peaked by 23 , injuries making Barry & Ian adapt their game and while still successful I dont think they were quite the same.

I have a picture somewhere of Jim Forrest scoring a goal in an all white strip. Interestingly I think it was against Real Madrid at Ibrox
Think that was against inter , either 64, or 65.

Think we wore an all white kit in a cup game v the sheep mid 70's.
Also the 2003 cup final v Dundee kit had only a minimum red & blue trim.

Hopefully the club & the various fan groups , can use their contacts in the
media to challenge the make believe currently being used as a stick to beat
our support, while conveniently deflecting from the activities of others.
Highlighting this should be the least we as a support deserve.

Jan '78 Rangers 3 celtic 1. My first old firm game, sat in the Centenary Stand
amazing atmosphere, especially after the second goal when the Greatest Ever
Ranger walked the ball into an empty net while the unwashed were chasing the
ref. looking for a penalty . Also the last League Cup final when Jelavic scored as
I had my 8 year old son with me & my daughter had a seat further up the Rangers
End. Think most Bears who couldn't be there would go for wee Neil running riot
in their midden.

Alex will be sadly missed. A big loss to the Loyalist community
in Scotland & Ulster. Thoughts are with the family circle.

Was on the trip today with my 12 year old son, and would recommend it
to all Bears. Really interesting finding out about places in the city centre
that you pass regularly that have Rangers connections. Thanks to all the
people at The Gallant Pioneers and also Norman the stadium tour guide
for a great day out. Would like to think the club could get more involved in
the grave restoration projects, as I think this is a worthy cause.

I was at that game in Leverkusen and tbh he dominated the game & the one against the filth in the same way as he done when I had seen him playing games for his primary school in Bellshill. He made it look easy. Personally I think we could've got 15 million if we had sold him at that time , but with Gio van B always likely to move on then was unlikely that both would be sold. Always felt his game suffered when he tried to do others jobs & not just focus on his own performances. At the time though definitely a class act who always played with his head up and seemed to have time on the ball. There's highlights of the Leverkusen game on Rangers classic matches dvd , well worth watching.
