  1. Exactly what I'm thinking. We're a 3rd division club. A good portion of our established players have left. We've had to rebuild. Yes, most of the signings haven't turned out to be good ones, but I'm not going to complain too much yet. We're 19 points ahead of the 2nd placed team. If they win their 2 games in hand we're still 13 ahead. A lot of supporters were calling for the sacking of Ally when we were still in the SPL. They were saying he wasn't ready and should have gained experience in the lower leagues. Well, we're in Division 3 now and winning it soundly. There's room for him to make mistakes and learn from them right now. I say we give him the chance.
  2. After reading all these stories I'm jealous that I can't say I've been a supporter since childhood. I'm from the United States and only watched international football. I didn't really have access to club football. In the summer of 2007 I stumbled upon a site that allowed me to download the CONCACAF Gold Cup matches that I missed. I was intrigued and downloaded a match from the previous EPL season (the amount of EPL matches far outweighed every other league) and the 2006/07 Champions League final. Coming from a Scottish family I decided to seek out any match I could from the SPL. I was able to get the 2006/07 Scottish Cup final and the Celtic v. Rangers match from September of 2006. I watched the Scottish Cup final and wasn't really impressed with what I saw from Celtic or Dunfermline. The next day I watched Celtic v. Rangers. I remember Celtic took the lead in the first half and scored again towards the end of the match. Both teams were fouling each other, but it really annoyed me that even though Celtic were winning a lot of their fouls were cynical ones. Rangers had their share of fouls but were playing a relatively clean game. The match ended 2-0 and I remember saying to myself, "Apparently Celtic are a bunch of assholes." I had my 2007/08 Rangers home top in time for the first match of the new season and never looked back.
  3. I don't know about this David Templeton kid. He just doesn't seem to have that killer instinct we need.
  4. I love that it didn't take us long to take control after giving up that goal.
