  1. Yeah. I'm connected but it's taking forever to get to the next step. Still waiting for the actual stream to load.
  2. I just got back from cancelling my pre-order. I don't really play FUT, just career mode as manager of Rangers. With them not being in it I literally have no use for that game. Oh well, I'll just get it next year.
  3. I started watching Scottish football right at the end of the 2006/07 season. The two matches I was able to download and see were the Scottish Cup final between Celtic and Dunfermline and the Old Firm match from 23/9/2006. Celtic won both matches but for some reason Rangers were the team pulling me in. My first full season was 2007/08 which was our UEFA Cup run and the year we lost the title on the final day. I remember being in a hotel for an out of town wedding watching our final league match. My girlfriend was not pleased. We all know the history of our club and what happened from 2008/09 until now. I've never been less than proud to be a Rangers man, but I can say I've been wearing a non-stop smile when talking about them as of late. It might take a few years to get us back to how we were, or even better than we were, but it's going to be exciting to go along for the ride.
  4. Like a bunch of you are already stating, it's only the half. McCall has taken a miserable bunch and lit a fire under them. The amount of matches we've played in the short amount of time is clearly taking its toll on the squad. I believe we'll come out Sunday prepared to win. Whether we do it or not is up to the squad, but until that final whistle blows I'll be cheering our boys in blue on from the States.
  5. Favorite: The moment we got voted into Division 3, for 2 reasons. 1. It seemed like the most solidified our support had been for a long time. We were all ready for a fight against the entirety of Scottish football and it was awesome. 2. Everyone else in Scotland didn't think...they "knew" it would take years and years for us to get back to the top flight and I couldn't wait to prove them wrong. Worst: The quality of football and lack of leadership and direction bringing me down from that high.
  6. Robinson once again proves that gingers are maniacs and have to be watched closely...
  7. The brick wall around their ground looks awful. Almost like the match is being played in a dungeon.
  8. I know! It has to be the loose fitting kit. He looked in shape a few days ago and there's no way he could have put on that much weight in a few days...even on our shitty American food.
  9. I'll take it. No more of that 5-4-1 junk. Miller and Boyd aren't cut out to play as a lone striker and I'm not sure any of our younger attackers are capable of it, either. If we do ever play 1 up top it really needs to be in a 4-2-3-1, but Ally has clearly assembled a squad meant for a straight 4-4-2.
  10. It's Michigan. It's either 80 degrees or snowing outside. I might go catch some fireflies if the match keeps up like this.
  11. They've confused us with all the American football lines. That's the excuse I'll use.
  12. I found a picture of the commentator. He looks just as I suspected:
  13. I'm American and this commentator is killing even me. I imagine that he sounds like a cartoon character to the rest of you.
  14. Thanks a lot. Now I'm going to be disappointed when these aren't the new kits.
  15. The winner of the Scottish Cup gets a spot in the 2nd Qualifying Round of the 2014/15 Europa League. If we win, what happens? Will we be cleared for European competition or will it go to the runner-up?
  16. Are we in Rest of the World again or did they add more Scottish divisions?
  17. There's a Celtic supporter that comes into my shop semi-regularly. She gives me a good amount of stick but always asks how Rangers are doing. She even told me a couple days ago that she's glad we didn't fold because it wouldn't have been good for football.
  18. I'm not okay with the Forfar result, but I keep remembering that Ally had to play the team he essentially was trying to replace. That, and every team loses matches they shouldn't. This wasn't our first terrible result and it won't be the last, no matter who the manager is.
  19. How are Puma sizes compared to the Umbro ones? Do they more or less fit the same?
  20. 2008/09 season for me. I was out of town with my girlfriend for a family wedding. I made sure to bring my laptop so I could buy the match on rangerstv.tv and watch it. We were all packed and getting dangerously close to our hotel checkout time and I'm still jumping up and down waiting for the final whistle. I think that's when she realized just how much Rangers meant to me.
  21. Much like Bocanegra, I'd be open to a return. He can play as a striker or out on the wings, and like CaptainAmerica18 said, he wouldn't demand a ton of money and the young strikers could learn from him.
  22. I wouldn't mind having him back on reasonable wages. He could either lead the young defenders on the pitch or give them the leadership and guidance they need during training. Like a lot of people are saying though, he'd have to take a pay cut.
  23. How so? The tactics are a mess, he signed some poor players, he's having trouble righting the ship...but we're still soundly winning the league. All I'm saying is if we're climbing the ladder and he's gaining experience in the process why sack him? If next season we're a division higher, soundly winning the league but he's still stumbling through it then that's sack worthy. I'm just hesitant to say we should pull the trigger at this stage in our journey back.
