  2. I find this amusing maybe Capello has a grudge or something from his time at madrid, or did they get on well at madrid?
  3. not one mention of Gilardino I was surprised by that
  4. Former Juventus and Torino hard man Pasquale Bruno has dubbed the current breed of Serie A stars as “girly†and hit out at two of calcio’s biggest names. Bruno was an uncompromising stopper, nicknamed ‘The Animal’ due to his fiery approach to the game during the 1980s and early 1990s. “Any touch on a striker is enough for them to go down and shout and cry as if somebody has fouled them. “Italian strikers today only think about earrings, tattoos, nightclubs and shopping. I have never been able to stand the fakers as they go out there to get others suspended.†The outspoken Bruno also had harsh words for some of today’s superstars, including Inter’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic. “In terms of quality, he is a phenomenon, but as for the rest…†Bruno growled. “He put his hand in Daniele Dessena’s face, he grabbed Giorgio Chiellini by the neck. Zlatan makes a mockery of the defenders and they don’t teach him a lesson, it’s incredible! “If I scared men like Marco Van Basten and Gianluca Vialli, imagine what I would do to him. I’d eat him alive! “As for Alessandro Del Piero, don’t go telling me that he is a superstar. If he is, then what were Lothar Matthäus and Careca? Are they extraterrestrials?â€
  5. love it can i use it if Gilardino gets chucked out of milan
  6. Ronaldo won’t be fit for Milan’s rescheduled Week 15 game against Reggina tomorrow, so Carlo Ancelotti will turn to Alberto Gilardino. Gilardino’s future is up in the air as he seems to have been displaced by Brazilian starlet Alexandre Pato. As reports that the former Parma man may quit the club circulate, Ancelotti is keen to reiterate his faith in the struggling marksman. “He was angry at being brought on two minutes before the end against Genoa, not because he didn’t play,†the Rossoneri tactician insisted. “He didn’t play because we wanted to play in a different way with players who play further forward than Gilardino – that’s why I chose Pato and Ronaldo there. If you want to play a more physical game then Gila is ideal. “I can understand why he could be unhappy, but even if he is coming on late he can be useful. “I want to state again that there is no problem between me and Alberto and I think that he is doing very well. “He has given so much and he will continue to give so much. I have the greatest trust in him and I think he will continue to grow.†mmm do you believe Carlos??? I dont, I think he would ship him off the first chance he gets Lets hope Milan can perform better tonight
  7. Look back and watch me smack that....That song? ;) x

  8. god thats bad, what are they thinking! maybe they just got desperate and thought quick we better sign someone fast
  9. 3 Goals in 3 games didn't watch the game but seen highlights, looked like Milan were on top the entire game, a lot better than that dismal appearance mid week, you never know with milan this season though, one minute your on a high then you come crashing back down to reality and get your face smashed on the concrete
  10. This wont happen we will secure frey instead, but its funny Danny how you got ripped into me for saying I would disown Milan if they took sheva back, yet your saying if they signed Boruc you would stop supporting Milan, contradiction alert
  11. Gigi Buffon may miss Juventus’ game against Livorno this weekend due to a potentially serious back problem. The Azzurri custodian missed the Coppa Italia quarter-final first leg against Inter due to pain in his lower back, but had hoped to return for the trip to the Stadio Armando Picchi this weekend. However, the problem seems to be getting worse and scans have revealed a disc protrusion. Although not a serious condition in itself, a disc protrusion can lead to a hernia, which would require surgery and between one month and three months on the sidelines. Buffon spent yesterday afternoon receiving physiotherapy and a range of massages to try and relax his back, but the only cure to the problem is rest. While there is a chance that the former Parma shot-stopper may begin the game against Livorno, Emanuele Belardi is more likely to step in. bad news for Juve

  17. Milan are set to extend Ronaldo’s contract as the Selecao star moves closer to full fitness. There had been doubts over El Fenomeno’s future when a series of injuries ruled him out for the first half of the season, but the former Inter man is back in action and looking sharp. Ronnie celebrated his return to the fray with a brace in the Nerazzurri’s 5-2 triumph over Napoli and is training hard to reach optimum fitness. He has always insisted that he wants to earn an extension to his contract - which is set to expire in June – rather than be handed one on the basis of his past achievements. Sources suggest that the new contract will keep him at San Siro until 2009 with an option for an extension to 2010. The 31-year-old is unlikely to receive a pay rise, but he will continue to claim 100 per cent of his image rights – a key factor in convincing him to move from Real Madrid where the rights are shared with the club. Ronaldo is likely to sit on the bench for tonight’s rescheduled Week 12 clash against Atalanta with Alberto Gilardino, Kaka and Alexandre Pato ready to start.
  18. oops wrong place sorry move to general football please EDIT: Thank you who ever moved this
  19. Inter and Milan could do battle for Argentine ace Javier Mascherano after his agent revealed that Liverpool haven’t made a bid to keep him. Mascherano joined the Reds on a long-term loan from West Ham last summer but Liverpool have been told they will need to pay around £17m to keep him. While a deal in instalments could be arranged, the club’s owners seem to have other issues to deal with and have no agreement in place, leaving Mascherano looking for a new team. “Liverpool haven’t made any offer at all for Javier and it is likely that he will move to Italy next season,†agent Walter Tamer stated. Juventus had been favourites to table a summer bid for Mascherano, but the Old Lady have turned their attentions to Mohamed Sissoko, who is expected to join the Bianconeri within the next week. Inter and Milan are reportedly watching the situation with interest and there may be some kind of bidding war between the two rivals. While neither side will be keen to shell out £17m, Mascherano could become an alternative to Ronaldinho, should the Brazilian star decide to remain at Barcelona.
  20. poor gila I do think he will move this summer as I cant see milan playing him much this season.
  21. would be a great signing, we have shown a bit of interest in him for while now so hopefully it gets sorted out in the summer and we can get a better start to next season *touches wood*
