This man is a fucking clown and should be banned from Ibrox for this. I never post regarding Spiers comments because I don't usually give a fuck what he has to say about Rangers. This is below the belt. I think he will have to answer for this statment. Really shocking behaviour. Why cant he let his ego go on a day like this? There will be many old firms to come but this one is about remembering 66 people who died at a football match.

There's been alot of talk about the scums political chess game this week but I'm just wondering when our players are comming back from injury. I know you can't say when they will be ready to start but a rough guess would put my mind at rest.
Papac , Boogie , Jelavic , Edu , Lafferty
I also think this rest will be excellent for us. The more football the same team plays the worse the performance in my opinion. People like naysmith will be itching to play against inverness and I think that will show next weekend.

Sorry if a repost. It seems that Jelavic might be back playing at the christmas period. Hopefully he gets a few games before the old firm at Ibrox.
Meanwhile, Smith has been handed a massive boost with the news that Croatian hitman Nikica Jelavic believes he is on course to return from an ankle injury before the end of the year.
The former Rapid Vienna striker made an impressive start to his Ibrox career scoring four goals in six appearances and formed an impressive partnership with top scorer Kenny Miller after his £4m August move.
But the 25-year-old suffered ankle ligament damage after a tackle by Hearts midfielder Ian Black in a match at Tynecastle last month.
Now Jelavic has said he is delighted with his recovery – and may return for Rangers sooner than had been predicted.
He said: “I work hard every single day, from morning to night. The only time I stop is to go home for lunch.
“Now I am slowly beginning to stretch the ankle and soon I will get off my crutches.
“Then I will get back training again. I expect to be back playing before the start of the New Year.”

I think people are underestimating how good motherwell actually are. We always have problems playing them. Brown has them very well organised and they have excellent outlets upfront and very speedy players on the wings. Our players are going to be tierd because of the nternational games midweek and look to have run out of ideas within 5 minutes. This is the reason I think we wont win this game and it will be an another amazing comeback if we do.

I hope they turn it round but how many times can you keep on doing that? Motherwell will finish 3rd in the SPL , it will be an amazing comeback again if they do it.

Which part? Do you want me to walk you through the goal? He doesnt pick up runners mate and it isolates davie at the back. The Bursapor wingers will pick up on this and it will cause overloads everytime we lose the ball and thet break. We need at least 9 outfield players who can defend tonight and sadly weiss isnt one of them. Im happy with the team and think the tactis are spot on. We will win and keep a clean sheet. Im not saying weiss should play a part. When the game is strechted he can open any team up. However , I dont think playing him from the start is a good choice!

To be fair alot of people have gone over the top about Weiss. He was at fault for us conceding on sunday because he didnt track back. They will be a much higher quality than Aberdeen and he just cant be trusted to start the game imo. I think once the game is settled we could bring him on for whittaker around 65-70minutes. Remember what happened last year guys. We need to defend the way we did on our UEFA cup run. Its a home night in the CL. The chances will come. There wont be many but walter is gambling on someone to take one of them and keep it tight at the back.

Havent posted in a while but have been lurking almost everyday. Was having a dicussion with one of my mates and couldnt find out the answer to this. I remember we played Cousin and Miller upfront at CP when we won 4-2. The Boyd and Miller partership was on fire last season but miller was sent off in the previous game so boyd had to go it alone i think.
Im just wondering out of the last say 10 games at CP , how many times have we played 4-4-2? Do any of you think we will do this when we play in October? I know its early doors!

As the thread suggests. Is this not the last year of us going straight into the group stage or do we have to play in QF round 3? And when is the champions league final on a Saturday night?

Obviously Motherwell have adapted to the pitch. They play on it every second week! Its embarrassing that this game is on ESPN. So many people will be laughing at our diddy league.

I have been saying this should be done for years! Great post. Also , the cut off date for young players in football is january. so what about the wee guys who are born in decmber? they have had a nearly a full year less to grow and develop than the players born in january. Its a self full filling prophecy!
