  1. I was in a pocket of about 200 gers fans in the Fiorentina end. After fergie missed, i never watched a single penalty instead opting for on my hunkers then reacting to the fans around me. Ended up about three rows down when the wee man stuck it away. The tallies to their credit stayed and shook our hands wishing us luck in the final. Walked about 3 miles back to our hotel. Best trip by a country mile.

  2. Which former Ger played over 100 times for Rangers, and also made over 100 appearances for 3 other clubs?

    Mojo

    126 - Partick

    192 - Timmy

    146 - Us

    180 - Kansas City Wizards

    :craphead:

    wrong never played for partick 100 times.

    :doh:

    I was adding his goals as well as appearances :lol:

    Ignore ma Mark Walters answer well....

    Thicko that i am.

  3. Fergie is nowhere near the worst IMHO

    Worst = Paterson. Im sure everyone has heard the rumour about how he got chosen. :anguish:

    Best = Gough.

    (tu)

    why paterson ?

    a) He was pish

    b) What did he win as captain?

    c) He was lucky that he was the first person to walk through the door after the bet between Jock and John McLelland :craphead:

    ok ..your view is our worst ever captain is craig paterson

    a guy who wasnt a great footballer.

    but he respected his manager, and never embarassed the club.

    unlike ?

    Craig Paterson regularly embarrassed our club. The very fact Paterson was the Captain of Rangers in the first place is an embarrasment in itself.

    As for Barry, well he has given us plenty of fantastic times, made us a profit in transfer fees, helped us to Helicopter Sunday as without him returning, WE WOULD NOT HAVE WON THE LEAGUE, and has been a fantastic ambassador to Rangers as far as giving loads of his time to charity and worthwhile causes, some of which i have attended.

    The recent goings on have been a total fuck up and he has certainly lost some of the respect i have for him, but the good times and good deeds far outweigh this one stupid episode in his life as a Rangers Captain.

    If this was what the thread was about, why not just start a thread saying "Barry is an arsehole". :rolleyes:

    what did paterson do wrong ?

    <cr>

    What part of him being "pish" do you not get ?

    What did Paterson do right?

    What was his trophy count as Captain ?

  6. So basically 'shed load' has become 'one bloke whose friend told him' and 'another bloke on here who admits he got it wrong' :D

    All i was trying to show was that the very first time they heard it people thought he said "I want to win, and if i don't i want to change club" (ish - not exact words) and im sure the people on here that heard it live on clyde at the time and assumed he said that weren't the only ones.

    And you missed 'youllneverwinaway' who said he heard it live ;)

    :P

    Already admitted my error and many others called into the show having heard the interview and thought he said "win" and not "want". Dont think Clyde can be blamed for this as i heard it 3 times and thought "win" yet it was only after reading Dannys post and listening for a 4th time did i realise it sounded more like "want" than "win"

    One of these things but not afraid to admit when i get it wrong and big man is back in my good books (tu)
