    Ive been pretty outspoken on here in regards to the DoF role. Call me old school but the way Alex Ferguson ran a football club, from top to bottom, is the way it needs to be done.

    I can understand it's popularity though, it's alot of faith to entrust in 1 man. To control everything from to transfer & wage budgets to team selection on scouting setup. But managers are the ones best placed to pick the players they want to utilise, as opposed to say some pishy clueless elected 'president' of Real Madrid who then tells the next 'coach' through the revolving door he can't build for his style but rather do what you can with what we give you.

    Warbo himself has held a DoF role before. It would be patronising to put a Felix Magath type in above him now.

    I hope Rangers never move towards the DoF/Head Coach setup.

    I think we will already have a few sounded out and ready to sign up in principal and I would expect some of them to formally sign by the end of next week.

    He was introduced as our 15th manager was he not? So they're counting someone

    I reckon they might be counting McCall.

    Usually a caretaker would be someone already at the club taking up duties beyond his position. McCall was actually brought in to do the job, allbeit, on a short-term deal.

    Came as a surprising stat to me, but looking back, we're not a club that has had a great deal of managers, and the managers we have had, have been predominantly Scottish. Some EPL teams will be going through the same amount of managers in 5 years as we've had in 140+ years.

    I much prefer single colour kits from top-to-bottom. It's much more dynamic and streamlined looking. Different coloured tops/shorts/socks/boots makes players look like plastic kids toys running around.

    Something like this would be much better than the fucking shite we've had recently:

    Anyone getting concerned?

    We really need some signings to start coming thick and fast, I know Warbo is just in the door but we're what, 4 weeks away from start of pre-season? Warbo says he likes his squad small, will only look to use about 24 players. So far he's signed 1 and how much of what's already here is good enough? Murdoch? Wallace?
