I've moved on now and excited for the future. Hopefully my feelings towards him will soften. Had he left mutually after div 3 promotion when everyone knew he hadn't a clue id still hold him in highest regard. Instead he clung on to every fuckin penny he could get out of us for 3 years while doing near enough irreversible damage, throw in the worst football i've ever had the displeasure of watching.
If football management is truly his passion, and i suspect it isn't he should go do what he should have done from the start, go cut his teeth at a club like Clyde or Annan. Learn the job and climb the ladder.

Singing comes from the back, the rest join in, makes sense to get the fans groups further back imo.

What did he steal exactly?
A fuckin wage.

Enough loafing around now that we are a scone's throw from the start of the season I hope everyone gets behind the new manager. He should be given at yeast a few months to implement his ideas as long as they are not half-baked or he will be toast with the support quickly. Lets hope any new guys that come in are decent, not on a lot of dough and know how to use their loaf on the field. Hopefully a new football philosophy will be ingrained in the club i adough but we will have to wheat and see.
Sad. You'll get some (bread) stick for that.

Some of the comments on here are a fucking disgrace, Ally made a complete balls up yes and he is never a manager in a million years but the personal digs and the way he is described in this thread is an absolute joke, after all he is our record goal scorer and would have died on the field for our team. Some of you have a fucking look at yourselves, he hasn't covered his self in glory I'll admit and yes he has taken loads of money but a simple no is the answer to the question asked and not the rest of the fucking shit you have all written about him, I can only put it down to the younger bears who don't remember much about him but he is a fucking bluenose and one of the biggest you will ever meet
Disgusting thread
If he only failed as manager he'd still have John Greig like status.
But he stole from us. Biggest bluenose my arse. He's a fat fuckin spiv. Had McCall pulled off the playoff win vs Motherwell that cunt would be first in line for his fuckin bonus.

NIKE: JUST DOUGH(do) IT

If he doesn't rise to the challenge, he will be finding himself in the dough queue.
Could be worse than kenny McDOUGHwell lol

He is going to need time to Prove himself...
HE'S GOT GOOD CONTACTS, HE KNOWS ALOT OF (RAISING) AGENTS.

The best thing Mark could do is close his twatter now he has thanked the well wishers. Can you imagine the clusterfuck this will be once the taigs get him in their sights.
Good, not too many people outside of Scotland really know what they are, sooner he sees the better.

Clearly you never.

Do people really think we're going to pay in the regions of 1m for Lewis?
-
I thought he looked poor also
He done what he had to do but looked far from great!
Now talking about fighting Arreola or tony Thompson next which would be a farce!
Povetkin was meant to be next but they are obviously having doubts
Arreola or Tiger could beat Wilder. Shoot out.
-
I said this months ago.
We're paying him a wage.
Get him to stand on the training pitch with his arse out for target practice full time.
He thought that acceptable training practice when he was here so get him doing it full time.

These bread puns man...

Who said anything about top half finish?
I certainly didn't.
You said relegation...
Stop making things up.
I stand by the opinion if we went up we'd have been scrapping at the bottom for reasons already stated. Maybe you should tell us where in the league we'd expect to finish had we went up, and why.
-
How so?
We beat Inverness, Kilmarnock and St Johnston so with the squad we had we would have been safe of relegation IMO. King said substantial funds were available if we got up so that would mean an even better chance of staying up.
There is no getting away from it being a HUGE set back us not going up this season no matter how hard you try to dress it up.
We got humped 6-1 by the 2nd worse team in the league. Almost the entire first team is gone.
We would have to assembled a first team off the back of whatever funds we do have, capable of competing. We're in worse shape now than when in div 3. In div 3 we kept hold of a few guys like jig wallace little and had 22 million in the bank from the ipo.
I don't see how we possibly could have created a team capable of a top half finish in a matter of weeks, or why you think we could have.

HEARD THE WAN ABOOT OUR MANAGER COMIN IN TAE TRAININ WAE BROWN FINGERS?
HE WIS KNEADIN A SHITE
-
HOPE HE GETS DOUGH (money) TO SPEND LOL!
-
And then he brought in a new manager in an attempt to ensure we got promoted.
There is no actual reason to think we're better in Championship other than to stop yourself from being depressed about it.
There is no financial or footballing advantage to being in the Championship than the SPL.
We would have been fucking whipping boys next season with no room to grow or develop and huge financial pressure to buy top quality so we can actually compete.
The result if McCoists 3 years of gross neglegence would have been thumpings off of the tramps, the sheep and the rest of them. How would that have suited your morale?
We're nowhere near teady at this stage and we saved ourselves over £1m in cash right away which can now be reinvested directly in football development right away instead of in Mike or Allys wallet.

Sigh.

Hate to put a negative spin on things but how successful can a manager really be in Scotland before he high tails it down south?
He's on a 3 year deal but let's just say he is wildly successful, wins the league this year, wins the prem next year, wins a cup and does so playing passing football.... how do his "long-term" promises shape up when an English Premiership team comes chapping with a contract offer for him in excess of £4m per year?
It's a catch 22, I hope he does well, but if he does too well, then he's off and the "long term vision" is up in smoke.
